We hired Whiski Kitchen to design our dream kitchen for our small, 1940s bungalow, and they exceeded our expectations. Working with Melissa and Darin was a delight. They helped me turn my ideas into a beautiful, functional space that was designed to accommodate my needs and transformed my small, cold, dark kitchen into a bright, light, organized space. I couldn’t be happier with the results.
I can't say enough good things about Whiski Kitchen! We were very overwhelmed at the idea of remodeling our kitchen & mudroom. We needed someone knowledgeable with kitchen design who would, simply put, make the process easy on us. Melissa totally delivered on all fronts! Melissa and her team came to look at the original mudroom & kitchen. They listened to our concerns. Melissa was able to reconstruct our kitchen to have a MUCH more efficient layout. She is very talented! The finishing details are beautiful. Melissa understood exactly the look we were going for and made selections extremely easy! I recommend Whiski Kitchen to anyone looking to remodel!
We loved working with Rebecca! She is an excellent designer, understood and executed our needs.
Reviewer who said the sales team seemed rude and unorganized nailed our experience (short - but long enough to lead us elsewhere). Sales team was condescending & rude to my wife in consultation, and then booked alternative appointment over our confirmed appointment based on assumptions they made. weird experience. Accused us of shopping other cabinet suppliers, based on a simple question of if the design/sales office exclusively worked with one cabinet vendor. Hope you have a better experience than we did trying to find someone to spend $50K+ with!
Don’t appreciate my son advertising alcohol on his jersey. Disgusting and shameful. This company should be ashamed of themselves.
We wanted a complete kitchen renovation in our 1940s bungalow and had a great experience with Detroit Build and Whiski Kitchen. We had a baby and due to the timeline/circumstances could not follow through on the project, but it was still important to me to leave feedback based on our experience up until that point. We had an initial consultation and worked through the planning process. The team was responsive, thorough, and clearly very experienced from both a design and construction perspective. The plans presented were beautiful and it was a very collaborative effort with choices presented and our needs taken into consideration. Communication was great- there was no wondering when they would show up or respond. I would highly recommend Detroit Build and Whiski kitchen and hope we have the opportunity to work with them in the future.
Our experience with the design team at whiskey kitchen was amazing! Our preferences and requirements were respected and carefully considered in the design. Careful attention to detail left us with a kitchen that is both functional and beautiful. Working with Melissa and Darin in particular was pleasant. Melissa was professional, experienced, talented, communicative, and kind. I highly recommend whiskey kitchen if you are looking for design help in your home!
I am beyond thrilled with my retrograded kitchen (the word I use because I went backwards to be reflective of the 1920s). From day one, Whiski Kitchen listened and worked with my budget to create something that met my vision and that I find absolutely stunning. Everybody was truly a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend Whiski Kitchen. I almost wish I had another kitchen to change so that I could go through the process again.
Great quality workmanship and positive experience from start to finish!
The team at Whiski Kitchen (Rebekah was the main designer we worked with) did an amazing job transforming our old Berkley bungalow kitchen into a functional and beautiful space. Months later, we still can't believe this is our kitchen! I really appreciated how Rebekah was super interested and open to our ideas, but when we needed help and direction she was there to guide us. Would definitely recommend working with them to get the kitchen of your dreams!
