I have not been in this store for a few years but it's just as awesome as ever. Everything about this store is amazing, even the parking garage. Best wine dept in Austin with the biggest organic wine selection in town. The Stellar Organics Pinotage is fantastic. The hot food bar is my favorite lunch stop when in town. They now have my new favorite organic Spanish Sparkling wines HOLA....and 8.5% Alc....amazing wines.

overpriced and rotting fruit everytime. bananas are always super green - they never rippen and taste horrible. I had an opal apple today and it was dry and the skin was shriveled. absolute garbage store.
Nice Whole Foods ! Underground parking is a good one to escape heat. Dining area is both indoor and outdoor
Terrible customer service. The lady at amazon returns was ordering me around and cussing right in front of me, very unprofessional. She refused to put my return in a clear bag when asked politely because the contents were loose in a box that was not secured. If i could give zero stars i would.
This Whole Foods was a culture shock for me. I’ve never seen one so large. I wish I had more time to explore it all.
Thanks for the feedback, William! Sounds like there’s plenty more to discover on your next visit. We’re glad the store made such an impression, and we hope you get more time to explore all the delicious finds soon.
Fab Whole Foods but the parking is a nightmare
Amazing store ! Please bring chicken soup with rice back ;)
They always have the things I need.
We love being your go-to for the things you need, Sam! We look forward to welcoming you back on your next shopping trip and helping you find all your favorites.
this is genuinely the worst experience i have had with any grocery store in my entire life. the back of the building is labeled with less than helpful directions. i am a walker user and my friend is a wheelchair user. we wandered through the parking lot only to find that the elevator was not working. there are escalators for people and two escalators for shopping carts that both go down, not up into the store. by sheer luck we ran into a guy that used to work here and told us where we needed to go. which was through the parking lot, around the parking lot entrance and then up to the front entrance. all of this was a very steep and uphill route. this store also seems to have been laid out by whatever great minds that have never been outside think a grocery store should look like. safe to say i was not happy about this whole foods and i will never return and i suggest all that are planning to should find a better store
Pros- convenient to walk to. Really good bread options & ingredients (I love the mount athos sour dough bread). Really nice flowers. Excellent wine lady- she really knew her stuff, offered tasting samples, it was a great experience selecting wine with her. Great ice cream selection. Enjoyable hot bar (although this location doesn't have as good sweet chili nuggets compared to the east location). Cons- I've spoken to multiple store folks about this but the cucumbers are always slightly frost bitten/spoiled. They shouldn't be kept in the cool vegetable section, they should be at room temp. Other grocery stores follow this method and my cucumbers are always normal from them. I've stopped buying cucumbers from wholefoods because each time they've been ruined and no one really seems to care. Second, the meat counter doesn't seem to have knowledgeable meat people. I am pretty specific about the cuts of meat I get and when I ask questions it feels like the meat counter is just not experienced in this domain. Third, I'm SHOCKED at what they are trying to charge for dried chiles. I needed about 10 for a Mexican recipe, they sell them in packs of 2-3, so I would've had to purchase multiple and I think it would've equaled like $30. For comparison, I can get bulk chiles from other grocery stores for less than $3-4 total. I'm sorry but if you've ever cooked anything with these peppers you'd know it never takes 2-3, so basically you HAVE to buy multiple packs, and each is expensive. Left a very sour taste in my mouth and I ended up ordering bulk peppers elsewhere.
