Great place and amazing staff... highly recommend.

If you are looking for an amazing and beautiful space to host your ceremony, your reception, or both, I highly recommend Wilder Mansion! They are also great if you are looking for a venue that’s a little more on the “affordable” side. We paid extra for the tented garden, and it was so worth it in the summer time! Starting off, communication was a little slow at times, but once we were booked with them, they were quick to email back any answers to any questions we had. We visited multiple times and walked through the space, and spoke with both Meagan and Peg about any questions or concerns for the big day. They were super happy to help, and really helped walk me through the day before it happened so I felt prepared! Not to mention, they really love what they do, so they are on it with set up, take down, and all the help and encouragement needed in between. Love love love Wilder Mansion!

From the moment my daughter and I walked into Wilder Mansion we were obsessed. It is SO beautiful. After looking at over 20 wedding venues, nothing could compare. It was the best decision we could have made. What we didn't know at the time, but it became clear to us later, was what an absolute pleasure it was to work closely with Meagan and her staff. She was knowlegeable, kind and accommodating on every occasion. Our every request was met with helpfulness (also by Dave who was equally delightful). I cannot express how important it is when planning a big event such as a wedding to be able to work with people who are so nice and kind to work with. The wedding was beautiful and the I highly recommend Wilder Mansion, Meagan and her team. You won't be disappointed!

Best wedding venue we could have hoped for. The Wilder Mansion was A+ on all fronts for us: elegance, style, location, parking, staff, cost -- EVERYTHING. The location made our wedding feel beautiful and special - but not bank breaking. I fell in love with the venue every time I visited - so thank goodness the price and amenities were great. Staff: Peg (who works there) is absolutely lovely -- and was so gracious and kind in helping extra to ensure everything came together. The day of the wedding, neither the groom nor I had to care about one thing-- we carried along by the great catering (elegante) and Peg. They ensured everything was on track and kept on schedule. I am so grateful I found the Wilder Mansion. Season: Our wedding was in January-- so I was slightly concerned about if it would be warm enough - but the temperature inside was perfect! Amenities: Great sound system, ADA accessible, nice amount of space for my 100 person wedding. Catering: They have a preferred list of caterers - we used Elegante (Corky's) and it was quite reasonable. If you are looking for a romantic setting that guests will rave about - the Wilder Mansion is for you!!

Cosy and charming place for a smaller wedding reception. It’s a lovely old home but lacks a grand room.

Amazing place

We stopped in by happenstance, the Park District had the Mansion open for a fun family holiday event. We were able to walk around and admire the beautiful interior decorated for the holidays, as well as participate in the free holiday program.

Beautiful venue and very customer service focused. We had my niece's bridal shower here
