⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely Fantastic — Made Everything So Easy! I had to plan a backyard wedding for 80+ people in just two weeks, and I was feeling pretty overwhelmed trying to pull all the pieces together. Exceptional DJ and Photobooths was such a great find! They called me right back, walked me through the entire process, and even provided a template to help organize the event details and song choices. That kind of support made a huge difference and took so much of the stress out of planning. DJ Paul was absolutely wonderful! He was easygoing, flexible, and incredibly understanding of my last-minute planning and lack of preparedness. He handled everything like the true professional he is, kept the party moving, and never missed a beat. He helped create a fun atmosphere and made sure everyone had a great time! When you're planning an event on a tight timeline, you need people you can count on — and this team absolutely delivered. Great communication, fantastic support, and a DJ who knows exactly what he's doing. I highly recommend Exceptional DJ and Photobooths to anyone planning an event! They made a stressful situation so much easier, and I couldn't be happier with their service. Five stars all the way!

This DJ was so knowledgeable and easily worked with our wedding planner, bride, and family. It was a memorable day that carried into the night with AMAZING music. The wedding wouldn't have been what it was without him. Highly recommend.

TL:DR - not what we were expecting, didn’t read room well, no emceeing, won’t be using again. We used xceptional djs for my son’s bar mitzvah last night. Due to unforeseen circumstances, the DJ assigned to my son’s party, who had done bar mitzvahs before, was unable to be there. I did get a personal call from DJ Forrest to say he would be DJing. He assured me that he had done school parties before and he felt confident that the party would go well. Unfortunately, the party was not what we expected. There was little to no Emceeing, the DJ’s voice was so low when he did make announcements, he started the montage before half the people were on the dance floor to watch - and I had to tell him to wait and make multiple announcements. At one point I took the mic and made announcements my myself. Not once did he get on the mic to hype up the kids to come dance and celebrate my son. I had to tell him when to start the Hora music despite us talking multiple times about when it was going to happen. He was unable to read the room well and the only songs that kept people dancing were the songs from the playlist I sent as examples of songs to play. On top of that he played these songs way too late in the party when half the guests had already left, this is despite multiple requests by myself and guests asking him to play different music, I had multiple guests ask me what was with the music. I find it hard to believe that this DJ has done school parties because very few of the kids got on the dance floor at all.

Forrest with Xceptional DJs was professional, communicative, and a very good DJ. Our corporate event was incredibly elevated because of this man. Hire him as soon as you can.

I worked with Forrest and his team (DJ Roland and his daughter Jacqueline) on the Heights Daddy-Daughter Dance, and I could not have been more pleased with the whole process. Forrest and Roland were very communicative in the weeks leading up to the event, ensuring there were no surprises on the day of. Roland and Jacqueline arrived at the venue well in advance of the start to do set-up and sound checks. I left it to DJ Roland to choose the music selection, and I’m glad I did. We had to shut down the dance floor at closing time because the guests didn’t want to leave. The Photobooth was a hit as well. We’ll be coming back to Xceptional DJs + Photobooths in the future for sure!
