Doc spent two nights here. I feel confident that he was well-cared for and content. I received two photo updates each day. Staff were kind and seemed very competent. I appreciate that someone is onsite overnight.
My dog Roxy lovessss going to Yardstick! If she loves it, I LOVE IT! It’s nothing like having a peace of mind when leaving your dog in the care of someone else. I knew Yardstick was a winner when Roxy didn’t look back at me when it was time to go back with the staff. Roxy loves the staff and whenever I go on a vacation I feel confident she is well taken care of. Here are pictures of Roxy during her stays.

Other than the cost, which was clearly disclosed from the beginning, I was very pleased with our experience. I was given photo updates several times a day of my dogs’ activities. They seemed calm and secure when I picked them up two days later. All belongings were returned.

Update: aug 2026 the allowed some flexibility with a sickness. After previous policy issues im glad to see the human factor return. Update: they are really good to our dogs. We feel safe. However take warning if booking flight times you will be charged 25 each dog if your not exaxtly 24 hours on last day of drop off time. Paid for 6 days (10:15 drop off and pick up right at 12:30) and was charged extra 50 for the couple hours. They did not do thia before. Since i planned flights to try to get as close they loose a star. I sent email with feedback. New person at register not very friendly. Boys love it! We had a fantastic experience with Yardstick Dog Boarding! They provided daily updates with usually three photos a day, which made it so easy to relax on vacation knowing our boys were in a safe, controlled environment. I always worry about having someone stay in our home while we’re away, so this was a perfect solution. They followed our feeding directions exactly and took the time to ask questions about our pups’ personalities. From the pictures, it was clear they were happy and having a blast. It’s also a big plus that the same caring team is available for daycare during busy work weeks, so the pups get consistency and familiarity. We chose grooming and nail trim on departure and they came smelling wonderful. They did great job. We truly appreciate the level of attention and care they gave—will definitely use Yardstick again!

We love Yardstick! You can tell that the kind people who work there love dogs. They sent us several pictures during our pups’ stay, which we really appreciated! One of our dogs has ligament issues. He wears leg braces and we have to limit his movement. We always trust Yardstick to take care of him just as well as we do at home.

Yardstick is immaculately kept, pups are screened to keep non-social pups to themselves, the “suites” are terrific - spacious, clean and comfy. The staff friendly and engaged with both pups and their owners. Thank you! I never worried about Asti getting fun exercise. I also enjoyed the regular photos with comment on how Asti was doing ‼️

My dogs just stayed at Yardstick West for the first time and we will definitely be going back for daycare and other boarding times! The staff was incredible. They answered all questions and provided all the information we could possibly need. They sent daily updates and pictures of both of my dogs. It was great to see them playing and eased any anxiety I had! I could tell that they really loved and enjoyed taking care of our dogs and we are so thankful to have found them!!!
