Class was very noisy at first, but they were willing to accommodate my hearing disability. They are excellent teachers, keeping everyone on the same page while servicing the needs of individual students. The chapters of the Northstar Digital Literacy course are extremely well organized so that students can do their own work, while maintaining the community lessons the teachers assigns. The most amazing thing I discovered was that; from using the Excel Program to do grades for the Philadelphia School District, I was able to incorporate first hand knowledge into the chapter on Excel and be a help to the class. Hence the need for the York Digital Literacy Institute. "VIVA LA YDLI". This is what lifelong learning is all about! From: Cheryl Reifsteck

I am so glad my mother told me about this computer class. Claudia is my teacher and she is takes her time, to teach me and my classmates how to use a computer. I know I will pass her class. I will tell other people to go to York Literacy to take Claudia computer class. ☺️

I am very appreciative of the york literacy Institute for providing the computer literacy courses. Claudia was my instructor and she is awesome, she takes the time to make sure each and every student in her classes have a working knowledge of the basics on the computer. I always leave her classes feeling better about myself, and realizing that I have learned a useful skill. It's not easy as an older adult to sit in a room of your peers learning new skills. Claudia makes you feel at ease that the rest of the class is here to learn and that your not judged. I have truly been blessed that she is my instructor at the york literacy institute. I would recommend this course and Claudia to any york county resident.
