You Kitchen Chef was the perfect catering experience for our wedding! From beginning to end they were professional, informative, and helpful. One of our favorite parts of the experience was how much flexibility we had with the menu. There were so many options to choose from that we were able to create a menu that felt personal to us and fit perfectly with the Mediterranean theme we envisioned. We even had the opportunity to do a tasting with the chef in his home kitchen, which made the experience feel especially personal and collaborative. They were also very mindful of our budget and worked with us to stay within it without making us feel limited. As we got further into planning, we were able to add on additional services, including dessert and day-of coordination, which made them a true one-stop shop for several of our wedding needs. The catering staff on the wedding day were wonderful. They were professional, efficient, and somehow managed to blend seamlessly into the background. We barely noticed them unless they were going above and beyond to help — which happened often! Everything felt taken care of without us having to think about it. And a special shoutout to Julie, our day-of coordinator. She was a lifesaver! She met with me regularly leading up to the wedding, helped with decorating and setup, coordinated with our vendors, and kept things moving smoothly throughout the day. She was incredibly friendly, professional, and proactive, and having her there gave us so much peace of mind. Overall, they provided not just great food, but an experience that genuinely made our wedding planning and wedding day easier. We felt supported and we’re so grateful to the entire team for helping make our wedding day everything we hoped it would be.

Your Kitchen Chef did an amazing job catering our wedding reception for our mid-September wedding in Damascus, OR! They provided full-service catering for 150 guests. From our taste testing with Keith, our consultation meetings with Julie, along with her prompt responses to all of our questions in between, all the way up to our wedding day, we were so impressed with their professionalism, punctuality, and genuine care they put into their services. All of the food was absolutely delicious, many of our guests complimented the food as well. We appreciated being able to customize our menu to best fit the wants/needs of us and our guests. I recommend upgrading to the premium options, the crab cakes are delicious!

From our first conversations, to our tasting with Keith, to addressing little details and changes, and finally our wedding day food: Keith and Julie anticipated our every need and walked us through the process of arranging top notch catering and service. My uncle, who is a wonderful chef himself, even said the chicken thighs were the best he’s ever had! We used Your Kitchen Chef for our wedding catering in Oregon City and they were great! Julie was very communicative, prompt, flexible, and patient throughout the process, including accomodating some late-stage changes. The food Keith prepared was tasty (we did apps, dinner, and dessert through them), and the staff / bartending team was very nice as well. We are very happy we chose YKC for our wedding and would recommend!

Your Kitchen Chef was spectacular. Julie was so helpful and responsive and kind during the process (I planned our wedding from out of state). The food was AMAZING! Every guest came up to us and told us it was the best wedding food they'd ever had. There were so many options on the menu it was hard to choose. The two entrees we chose were Tuscan Chicken and Prime Rib, both were fantastic. All of the staff were helpful, kind, and so friendly. We just had our wedding Saturday with Your Kitchen Chef catering. It was amazing! The food was excellent and set up beautifully, and the staff was so helpful and friendly. Our guests loved everything and we got so many compliments and raves from everyone. Julie was great to work with and always responded immediately to any questions we had. Some of our guests are Vegan and Keith prepared separate meals for them, which they loved. We would definitely use them again and can’t recommend them enough!

I got married at the Ainsworth house on 9/29 and I am so glad we choose your kitchen chef for our catering and bartending needs! Keith was so awesome from our tasting to our wedding day. The staff absolutely were all a pleasure to work with. And a special shout out to Julie for also answering my emails and doing all the background work so I didn't have to. You all are fantastic!

We can’t say enough wonderful things about Chef Keith and the coordinator, Julie! Planning a wedding can be stressful, especially when it comes to food and making sure everything runs smoothly, but they handled it all beautifully. From the start, Julie managed all the logistics with so much care and patience, even with our many particular requests, while Chef Keith wowed us with his incredible cooking. We had a tasting beforehand, which really set the tone for what we could expect on the big day. The appetizers—bruschetta, pigs in a blanket, and caprese skewers—were a hit right out of the gate. For dinner, they served perfectly cooked chicken, brisket, roasted mixed veggies, potatoes, and homemade rolls that tasted like they came straight from grandma’s kitchen. The bartenders they brought along were fantastic as well, keeping drinks flowing and guests happy. One of the things we appreciated most was how they left us the remaining food at the end of the night—because let’s be honest, wedding food this good deserves an encore! Our guests couldn’t stop raving about how delicious everything was, with many going back for seconds (and even thirds). Your Kitchen Chef truly made the dining experience one of the highlights of our daughter’s wedding day. From our very first private tasting with Keith himself, we knew we were in amazing hands. Julia, the catering manager, was incredibly responsive and collaborative throughout the entire process—always just an email away and eager to make our vision come to life.
