Pros: Every staff member I met was friendly and kind, and the concepts they teach seem sound.
Cons: I paid $60 for an evaluation, was told I needed private training, and paid $80 for my first session. I didn't realize till I was kindof being rushed out that they are only 30 minutes. They had lost the reservation they made for me when I paid, so they were unprepared when we arrived. They fit me in, but we started late, and about 20 minutes in, the next class was already lining up outside, which made me feel I had to hustle out.
In the end I got about 20 minutes of total instruction for my $140. We covered three concepts but only practiced a few repetitions of two, so I left without confidence in any of them. The main homework was a distraction technique that requires two people. I live alone on a quiet road, and with people waiting there was no time to ask how to do it solo. I was told to practice for a couple of weeks, but I have nothing clear I can do on my own.
I contacted them through the website afterward and got a fast, kind, apologetic callback, but the only outcome was an apology and a suggestion to book another session. When I said I couldn't afford another $80 for 30 minutes, she suggested $35 private play time, which isn't training or socializing and isn't what I came for.
I spent $140 and left without skills I can use or a clear path forward other than paying for more short sessions.

Helen is a great trainer. She's confident in her instructing. I love how she listens to my challenges with Gauge and then adapts her training tips to fit our needs. Working with sighthounds can be challenging but Helen is able to make valuable suggestions for me to try to implement.

We had the best first experience here! Our puppy was so excited and couldn’t focus much, and we were very nervous too! They made us feel comfortable and confident. They had so much patience with our puppy, and I’m excited to get more sessions in!

I have take my dog to athe zoom room 4 times so far after her initial evaluation. I appreciate the real-time feedback at the training sessions and the quick answers to the many questions I have. The staff is very kind, encouraging, professional, and they make the most out of the 30 minute time slots. It’s worth trying out if you have behavior concerns or just want to teach your dog basic manners.

We have been to three private sessions with our very fearful rescue pup at ZoomRoom, Tacoma. The trainers are patient and focused on helping us to help our pup feel comfortable and lower her anxiety. We are looking forward to continue working with them and to join in on their obedience training.

I have a 3 1/2 year old reactive Frenchie. I started private one-on-one training here about a month ago and it is definitely helping me and my pooch! I’ve worked with a few different trainers and they are all knowledgeable, friendly and encouraging! Amazing place to train pets of any ages. We often recommend these guys at work and have seen great results.
Just started my puppy in classes the past couple months and she is doing great. It is helpful to refresh techniques since it has been so long since I've had a puppy. The staff here are all wonderful, caring and very knowledgeable. The products they sell here are great too!
I think for some at first, the cost may make people question if it is worth it. For the level of experience the trainers have, the quality of care, the sanitary precautions and the success rate they have in general I can assure you that it is well worth it, and difficult to find elsewhere to this level. Even for just a few classes vs a package, I'd highly recommend to anyone with a new puppy, or even an adult dog with any obedience or reactivity issues.
