Matthew’s FAQs
The matte or anti-slip topcoat treatment is what caused the lines. The matte or anti-slip coat finish's grit and texture may leave some lines on the floor, but they will eventually go away.
As the topcoat cures and hardens, dust particles get stuck in its surface, causing the tiny bumps. Maintaining a clean atmosphere is essential for installation. It's nearly hard to get rid of every dust particle in the vicinity. These small bumps won't last long, so don't worry.
Not at all. Homeowners and clients are severely discouraged from approaching the work area both during and after the project is finished. Its purpose is to guarantee that the layers of topcoat and epoxy cure and solidify completely. The goal is to prevent hair, dust, foreign objects, and unintentional touches from getting into the moist layers.
For each project, Metallic Epoxy Singapore aims to set up a "cleanroom." This is to reduce and remove extraneous objects and dust from the workspace, which could damage the final product and design.
You have two options for reapplying the topcoat: Either removing the entire layer and adding a fresh coat, or just the damaged portion. Reapplying a fresh layer is what we would advise because applying topcoat to the damaged area alone would leave unsightly blotches on your surface.
We will just cover the current design with a completely new one of your choosing! But be aware that it will add another 2 to 3 millimeters to the thickness of your current surfaces.
