I needed a new AC HVAC Unit and a friend suggested Edwin at TX AC. He came out and inspected our old unit and provided a quote on a new one. I really was impressed with his experience and how they would install our new unit. I had issues with a unit that was not installed correctly in the past and within a few years…
5 Star HVAC is the only HVAC my family will use while we live within their service area. They are the most responsive HVAC contractor I have ever encountered.
Exceptional response, diagnosis, repair and followup. I called on a holiday weekend. A technician was scheduled and arrived within a few hours. We talked through the issues and solutions, a price was quoted which I accepted and a crew was scheduled for the next day. The crew was available and arrived early. The…
We purchased an electric heat pump HVAC system. It was expensive at $15 K, but we no longer burn gas to heat our home. Initially I gave them a high review, but their warranty apparently requires a $175 annual fee for seasonal inspections. It started at $150 last year and already jumped up 16% due to “increased…
We had a wonderful experience with 5-star. They responded to our needs quickly and the repairs were made efficiently. They were respectful, careful, professional, and very nice. Victor and Jimmy were kind and gracious. The second man on the crew was also very nice. There was nothing we could complain about. And…
My initial review was great until they came back and made me replace my whole unit and once they left I had an air conditioner that was the exact same. In the end they paid for me to get a new thermostat, that was the issue but I received a whole new unit. The unit I did received for outside broke in less than 2…
Pedro was very prompt in getting to my house. Quickly identified the problem and fix. Bonus was he even had it done that day. They did a thorough job with the maintenance on the systems. High recommend with very reasonable prices.
I was not able to be at my house, but having a house full of company when my a/c went out. They were there the same day and replaced it, and charged me quite fairly. (I had quotes from others I know in the industry, so I know the quote was fair and competitive, meaning they didn't take advantage of my situation).…
Very impressed with 5 Star HVAC. From the moment Victor presented our replacement options to installation and a scheduled follow up. Professional, quick and cleaned up everything afterwards. Their inside people are polite, efficient and quick to follow up. I highly recommend these people.
Called me back within 10 minutes of sending my request to them on their website’s online form. Upstairs a/c was 22 years old and finally died. They replaced my unit the same day and at a reasonable price. Very happy with the experience!
5 star was quick to come and take a look at my system and asses what was happening. They gave fair prices for options to fix what was not working well on a 10 year old unit. They scheduled quickly and installed quickly. It was instantly noticeable that their work made a difference. Grateful for their flexibility and expertise!
After several trips out 5 Star repaired our HVAC System. We needed some new equipment and they came out quickly and took care of everything professionally and now everything is working great!
These guys are great! Wonderful experience! They got right out here with a new unit and had the work done in no time. I couldn’t be cooler or happier.
The service was professional. Since I contacted them to get the new HVAC system installed took them a couple of days. They provided all technical details and the process was smoothly executed

Jose and Pedro were very professional and fast with their response. They gave us a fair price and were out the same day. Great warranty and we got the brand we wanted.
My air conditioning unit for my home broke down late on a Saturday afternoon. I called 5 Star HVAC Contractors and they had a technician at my home doing diagnostic work within an hour. The unit was over 20 years old and shot. They scheduled a new unit install for Sunday morning and had my family back in a cool home…
Second time we have used 5 Star and again we received exceptional service. During the heat wave our aC couldn’t keep up so we called 5 Star and they were here the next day and replaced our original AC with a new one! Highly recommend!

5 Star was recommended to us by a neighbor and their work exceptional in our time of need. Our AC went out during 100 degree weather in Dallas and the 5 Star team replaced the part the failed and got our HVAC unit to cool again. Would highly recommend this company for their service, professionalism, and pricing compared to the competition.
All better now thank you!
We have been 5 Star customers since 2012. I have never dealt with a more fair and honest contractor in my life. Jose is the man! I can always count on these guys to be there when they say they will. I have had 4 different units serviced at 4 different houses all across north Texas and 1 unit installed. These guys are the best!
Ray was so nice and very professional. He was upfront about everything that needed to be done and the associated pricing.
Troy was very friendly & professional. He made very specific and targeted recommendations that showed he was a real expert. He stayed in touch with us throughout the week as we were working through our decision. His installation team were courteous and respectful, allowing me to work from home with minimal disturbances.
They were timely and very experienced.
I am very satisfied with the service made by the company to install a new compressor and evaporator at home. The price was reasonable in comparison with other companies. Troy was personable, the technicians workmanship was excellent. Highly recommended for this kind of service.
Jose of 5 Star HVAC is a great guy and a man of his word. I had a coil go out under warranty and he had all my records and was able to fix it the following morning with no problems. I was shocked when he told me he could since I just had a total knee replacement and am scheduling a total right shoulder replacement…
Great customer service. Installed new Rheem HVAC system and thermostat. Runs great and is so much more efficient than my old system. Very satisfied!
Prompt and quick response. Installed ac system within 2 days after first contact.
I needed a new HVAC system. I made the call on Monday, he was there the following day and my new system was up and running the next day. I'm very pleased with the service provided by this team.
Troy has been helping us maintain our systems for years now. Recently we had to replace the office unit. He was fair and on point with price and quote for full install. His crew and him were right in time, neat and efficient. The install went extremely smooth and came out great! Very pleased with Troy and 5 Star!
They were here on time and did a fantastic job. I would highly recommend.
We have used 5 Star HVAC to replace our outside unit, inside furnace, installed thermostat, all duct work and vents on 3 separate occasions. They were on time and the work they did was outstanding and very knowledgeable.
Jose actually answered the phone when I called around 7 am. He gave me a quote for a new system then had someone out just after 9 am to verify that was the size we needed. They were back just after 1pm to install a whole new system. Finished by 5. Omar even fixed my attic ladder! Very neat, efficient and professional! I definitely recommend them!
Responsive, knowledgeable. Wished there would have been communication ahead of time regarding size of system being installed and why.
Our AC went out in the middle of the night two days before leaving for vacation. We were able to call their 24/7 number that night and get on the schedule for the next morning. Troy came over the next morning and spent so much time at our house trying to salvage an old ac unit that needed to be replaced, just so we…
Great Local Company to do business with. Mr. Vargas and his team worked efficiently, respectfully and above all communicated with us the whole time. This all began when we called late on Saturday (our old AC was out), into Sunday when a technician charged the system to get us through the night, and on to Monday…
We had our A/C go out mid-day on the 3rd of July, and in a panic we called Jose @ 5 Star HVAC. He was super nice, and incredibly quick! A tech showed up an hour later and assessed our problems which unfortunately for us and our 30+ year old condenser meant replacement. They got us a quote, and stuck to it the whole…
Jose was super helpful not to mention very knowledgeable on what I needed. Very affordable. Installation was so fast! Instead of calling the other three places I called not only wasted time but money too. Jose and his contractors were reliable and saved my family from this miserable heat. Thank you so much!!!!! I…
