A Act of Love Adoptions has been such a blessing to work with. When my husband and I began this process, we knew very little and had no idea the emotional journey that was ahead of us. There were moments of uncertainty, overwhelming emotions, and many tears along the way—but through it all, we felt genuinely supported.

AAOL is simply the best, incredibly experienced, knowledgeable, transparent, and compassionate. We could not have been happier with them. We started the application process and 1.5 years later our son’s adoption was finalized. Adoption is stressful and overwhelming, and you really want a knowledgeable agency like AAOL guiding you throughout the process. Linda, Shelly, and Tarilee worked tirelessly to support us and the adoption through the whole process and were very communicative. They are transparent about everything.
After our son was delivered, there were four agency staff there the next day at the hospital. They really really really support birth moms too which was very apparent the whole time we were in Utah. Our birth moms coordinator, Bella, literally held onto mom on the hospital bed during delivery per mom’s request while our son was born, if that’s not support I don’t know what is! Our adoption went smoothly, and while that’s not always the case for every adoption, AAOL is the agency you should go with. They also support families of all types regardless of gender identity, marital status, or sexual orientation. My husband and I are a two dad household and were treated really well by everyone there.

Act of Love Adoptions is a wonderful agency that we highly recommend. We had wanted to adopt for years, especially since one of us is an adoptee so know the love that is put into it by all involved. We did research on which agency would treat our birthmother with the most respect and make her feel in control of her decisions and that is how we found Act of Love Adoption agency. This review is being edited to add that we have adopted a second through AAOL.
We got to experience first hand what a whirlwind it can be when the birthmother comes with a lot of trauma and has immense hesitancy to share what is happening with her loved ones. The birthmother had a lot on her plate and was trying her best to navigate her difficult situation. The agency did amazing work in order to accommodate that while explaining every possible option to her and have adopting parents like us fully prepared for the idea that a birthmother could back out. So, adoption number 2 was very different from the first time around. Adoption is a heavy and intense decision and the agency knows that, and not every adoption story is the same. Tarilee, Maegan, Lolly, Loraine, Shelly, Isaac, and Linda were exceptional and make a great team.
