I just picked up my wedding dress today! OMG it came out perfectly. I was so nervous to get my dress altered because of all the lace, beading and the fact that there are 7 layers! My dress fits perfectly and you can’t even tell where they made the alterations. This will be my go to place and I will be recommending them to everyone.

I had such a wonderful experience at A Blue Seam in Houston! From the moment we walked in, the service was professional, friendly, and incredibly attentive. I especially appreciated how thorough and patient they were throughout the entire process. You can tell they truly care about the quality of their work and about making their customers feel comfortable and confident. Nothing felt rushed, and they were happy to explain everything along the way. Absolutely would recommend for alterations. My wedding dress came in about a week before I was flying overseas for my wedding and was ill fitting. I brought to a tailor recommended by Anthropologie who wanted more to alter the dress then the dress was worth itself. After some research I decided to give A Blue Seam a try and I am so glad I did. Friendly staff, very fast service, and extremely reasonable prices. He had my dress ready a few days before I left and everything fit perfectly. Also can’t beat the pricing.

Do yourself a favor…find a LEGIT place. This is NOT it. I took a bunch of garments for alterations, almost $300. I had a brand NEW Marc Jacobs coat…they left the lining completely open. Then wanted to charge me $200 to replace the lining. The guy told me it was faulty…WHAT? Brand new coat…never worn…my jaw is tight just thinking about it.

I always have issues finding a pair of jeans to fit me properly due to my proportions. The tailors at A Blue Seam did a beautiful job at taking in the waist of my jeans without compromising the size around the backside area. Not to mention the pricing was very reasonable. I’ll be back and would recommend them to anyone!

I accidentally shrunk a wool cardigan and A Blue Seam was the only place that was able to help me stretch it back for it to be wearable again. Very happy to have found a go to place!
