The whole Abacus team worked with us and responded to our specific requests during the project. They build a solid deck for us and we are quite pleased with the result. This was a tricky project, but Abacus was able to give us exactly what we wanted/needed. I recommend Abacus very highly.
Abacus does great work! Very efficient and professional.
One of a kind - professional, detail-oriented, responsive, and makes sure the construction work is done right and meets engineering requirements and building regulations. Highly recommended. From an engineer’s perspective, it has been a pleasure having Abacus execute our designs.
We hired Abacus to build a roof deck and could not be happier with how it turned out. Our project needed variance approvals, and they were patient with me while I worked through that process, which took a while. The finished deck is beautiful. The crew was also genuinely friendly and easy to have around the house,…
Highly recommend
I had Abacus do a full stair repair of my exterior egress stairs. They look great now and more importantly are safe. Their team was responsive for me and came to fix an issue that arose during the work efficiently. Will be using them again.
Great craftsmanship, great communication, quick turnaround. They were professional, responsive, and knew how to deliver a great looking deck in a short time.
I selected Abacus for a two-story addition to my home after researching, and meeting with, numerous other contractors. What impressed me upfront was not just the obvious knowledge Mark Little and his workers have about construction methodology (I am a mechanical engineer), but also Mark's ready understanding of…

Great team to work with, very responsive and knowledgeable. Highly recommended.
I can’t say enough good things about Abacus Builders. They are the most reliable, go to builder and developer in South Boston and Greater Boston. They show up, do the work, and do it right. I have worked with them on multiple projects, and every experience has been smooth, professional, and exactly what you expect…
I hired Abacus Builders to redo the entire exterior of my house—roof, siding, and trim. They were not the cheapest, and they also weren't the most expensive. After seeing how much work they did, the price now feels extremely reasonable. Abacus was easy to work with and easy to communicate with. They answered my…
Abacus performed a series exterior carpentry and gutter repair jobs for me. This included replacing sections of posts, beams, siding, trim, and downspouts. It also included work on related mortar and moisture barriers. Throughout the estimation, demo, and construction phases I found that everyone I dealt with was…
Abacus planned, managed, and executed on a large scale condo property construction project for us. At issue was poor workmanship defects in the original installation of the water vapor barrier from the original development, that was allowing water to get into units. The Abacus team was highly engaged and…
We had a great experience with Abacus on both exterior & interior work. What really stood out was how often they checked in and kept us updated—super proactive and always quick to answer any questions we had. Whenever they had to come inside, they were really respectful and clean, which we appreciated. The crew…
