When Carlos and his co-worker, of AbsolutePower, came out to give me an estimate, I observed that he took the time to answer each question I had. Both he and his co-worker were respectful, courteous, and were knowledgeable. However, to be fair, each company representative that came out was also respectful, courteous, and were knowledgeable. When it came to selecting the company, it was a difficult choice, but I decided to go with AbsolutePower. Carlos and his co-worker did a great job. They were fast and efficient. If I ever need electrical work done, they will be my first choice.

The job involves moving a junction box that was in the middle of a drain line box (it’s an old house with so many surprises). Sure enough, I lose power at 1am and try to call for emergency services and all I get is a voicemail saying they’re closed and will contact me during business hours.

We're sorry to hear about your experience, and we understand how stressful a power outage is in the middle of the night. We reviewed our phone records for that night. Our after-hours phone menu gives callers the option to press 1 to book an appointment or for emergency service. We received four calls from your number, and each was routed based on the options selected. Two of those calls reached our after-hours team. Our on-call team missed the first call, which did not leave a message, and we own that. The second call came in about 15 minutes later and left a voicemail expressing frustration with our after-hours service. Because it didn't mention an outage, an address, or a request for service, our team didn't recognize it as an emergency call. We're reviewing our after-hours process so emergency calls are answered and the emergency option in our phone menu is as clear as possible. We'd still like to help. Please call us at 210-647-3138 or email [email protected] so we can follow up and make sure everything is safe and working at your home.

I wanted to point out something you don't really get to hear or see very often. But beyond their work I had the opportunity to hear them communicate and teach/train on the work being done. It's great seeing your electricians teach and pass that information for the next generation of workers. But taking the time to explain those concepts goes to show even more that this company has employees who can communicate well with their customers, trainer their new employees, get their work done within a more than reasonable time, while also providing affordable work.
