It’s a nice auto shop Update for 2026, service is still great

A friend recommended Dave and team about 3 years ago and I have been here ever since then. I appreciate the photo documentation they do to show what the concerns are and the priority to address them or not. We will continue to bring our Toyota here in the future.

Great hospitality, and quick to let me know what was going on. My car was in rough shape and they helped out within the week, got me a comprehensive assessment and set me up with a plan to get everything fixed. Highly recommend.

They did an incredible job on my 2003 WRX. They put in a new water pump timing belt, New heavy duty axles, changed all my fluids, brakes, trans diff. The price was what you would expect for it that amount of service on a 23-year-old vehicle. The good news is in the last 5 months I've replaced almost every single… Read full review

Great service! My tire indicator light came on, so I popped in. They checked my tires and refilled them and did a quick assessment. I need it all four tires replaced. My truck is 13 years old, and three of the four were original. With replacement, I needed realignment and found out I really needed new brakes as well… Read full review

Easy booking, friendly communications, and great service! I appreciate their thorough inspection and catching a leaking oil component, in addition to the requested tire rotation and oil change.

This was my first time going to Ace and they’re amazing! I will definitely be going back for my future car maintenance needs. Super nice and transparent people!

First time experience at Ace Auto and it was terrific! Knowledgeable and very friendly staff - and they take the time to explain why certain services are recommended after running diagnostic tests on your car. There’s no heavy sales tactics - it’s simply, ‘this is what we see, you can have it fixed now or do it… Read full review

Ace did a great job replacing the oil cooler, valve cover gaskets and spark plugs on my 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Excellent communication and estimate was aligned with what I expected for the Seattle area. Highly recommend!

Been going to this auto shop for the last couple years and Chris and Trevor and team to a tremendous job of keeping my car in good shape. All the costs are transparent and they give it to ya straight. Love the service, and highly recommend anyone that needs reliable mechanics!

Update on March 2026: I noticed a cute doodle on the wall. They told me it's from a customer's kid, ^_^ Doing good replacement for my vehicle in an affordable price.

Great people here! Excellent service at a fair price. Had several maintenance issues plus new tires and they did it all. Car rides like new! Thanks team!

Very friendly service. They were able to work with me on rescheduling an appointment.

always very transparent with cost, smooth experience, and they're always willing to explain technical things/answer any questions! would recommend!

Honest and thorough auto shop. I used to live in the neighborhood and was referred to Ace by another neighbor. After I moved away, I still come here. They have always treated me and my car well. I'm a former automotive engineer and I appreciate receiving the full system diagnostic every time I visit.

My car was due for maintenance but I had an upcoming weekend road trip so I thought I would just take the car in after the trip. A day before the trip, my TPMS sensor light came on (thank God..) so I was forced to take it in last minute. Well, turns out TPMS light was the least of my concerns. Apparently my car had… Read full review

We're able to squeeze me in when my breaks were screeching like a banshee

Great shop. Dave and Trevor in the front office provide clear and transparent communication. The work is top notch. Whether doing regular service or working through insurance, I highly recommend Ace Auto Repair & Tire.

Always professional and helpful!

I have a 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee that had many issues since it hadn’t been serviced in a long time. I found Ace, because they were recommended by someone who did not fix Jeeps. I checked out other places, but no one had as many high ratings and they did not disappoint. They assessed the issues quickly, gave me a… Read full review

A convenient, efficient shop with openings a day or two out to service our car.

Thank you thank you thank you especially to Paul at front desk and Dave for checking in with me to get scheduled. Appreciate all of you!

Needed to replace my tires a few thousand miles before I'd been planning to, Dave was great to work with and gave me a recommendation in my price range that I hadn't been considering, but after looking at further reviews online decided to go with and am so far pretty happy with. Got my oil changed while I was in the… Read full review

We always take our car into Ace. They communicate really clearly the work that needs to be done and give breakdowns for all of it. It’s perfect for someone like me who doesn’t know cars! I can trust that they are honest with me and that they do good work.

Really positive experience here. They were thorough, communicative, and responsive. And the costs were very transparent.

Super quality at a good price.

Very nice, trustworthy folk who get right to it.

This place was absolutely awesome from start to finish. Paul, Dave & the rest of the crew were very hospitable & proffesional from the time of my initial phone call until after they performed some work on my vehicle. The price for the work they performed seemed very reasonable as well. They texted me photos of the… Read full review

My car needed extensive repairs which I thought would take a long time based on other auto shops but Ace Auto Repair & Tire Pros surprised me with a call saying it was ready for pick up. Very Efficient, Thorough, and friendly.

This is a great shop to have multiple needs taken care of for your vehicle. Friendly and accommodating. I appreciate their great service

Quick, fair, transparent, and communicative about everything - my first time here and I really appreciate the work they did! I drive a 2010 Prius and the car is running great after the service.

I had a pleasant experience at ACE Auto Repair. I got a flat tire problem, thought I would have to buy a new one, but they fixed it. I also did the maintenance they recommended with a very reasonable price. I’d recommend the business to anyone who is looking for a honest auto repairs shop.

Awesome place, awesome services.

They are fast and friendly. Told me where to go for body repair as well. They did exactly what they said in a timely manner and with a smile. I also liked that they sent me a text with their report for my review. I don’t think it could be better than that.

I received a recommendation for repairs and took my vehicle. Ace Auto was transparent in their service/price, and provided an excellent service. They completed repairs at the time projected, and they also provided great follow-up. I highly recommend Ace Auto Repair.

They recommended the perfect tires for my needs for a good price and now I use them for all my car maintenance. It's nice to have found a no BS shop in Seattle.

These guys are great. Excellent use of messaging for appointment reminders, status and issues to be addressed. Service was timely and fairly priced. Highly recommended.

I brought my car in to Ace Auto Repair & Tire Pros after my catalytic converter was stolen and to address several other issues with the vehicle. Great service. They send you pictures of all of their repairs and potential problems with your car so you know what’s actually going on. No hassles, great communication, and they always seem to be early or right on with their estimates for how long work will take.

Came in with severe stalling issues. They provided excellent, detailed diagnostics, and only fixed what was strictly necessary. They were exceedingly communicative and allowed me to make the calls regarding if I wanted anything else fixed, plus were helpful with explaining recommended services. My first time having a car in 10 years after being a bus commuter, and these guys made the process feel super easy and understandable. Dave and his crew at Ace Auto Repair are truly fantastic. I am new to the area and finding an good automotive shop can be daunting. I chose to give Ace a try based off of the glowing reviews left by others. I brought my Jeep in for an oil change, and had a few minor concerns. After dropping my vehicle off I received… Read full review

Great experience and friendly staff. I liked getting a breakdown via email and text of what work needed to be done instead of just a phone call.

I’ve finally found a local trustworthy auto shop! Dave was very helpful and knowledgeable in recommending the best tires for my car. They replaced all 4 tires and did a wheel alignment and oil change. They did the work quickly, at a reasonable price, and did a great job. Thank you Dave!

Great service and reasonable pricing. One of the mechanics stayed after closing so I could get my car back on the same day I dropped it off. I’d absolutely recommend them, and will use their services again!

Great service and knowledge and on time and very up front and accurate about costs. Will be using Ace again!

I've been using this shop for my aging Jeep for many years, and they are always professional and courteous. They do good work at a reasonable price. I have two examples of when they went above and beyond. Once I left my car for them to diagnose a sound coming from the axle. He called me to say they figured it out… Read full review

Since moving to Seattle 2 years ago, we have been going to Ace Auto Repair Tire Pros. They have been nothing but straightforward, pleasant, and do a great job. Plan on sticking with them for the foreseeable future for car maintenance.

A great experience with everyone at Ace. I will be back.

They are totally professional, love that they send a diagnostic breakdown by email highlighting what should be a priority! They are the best!

Good customer service, reasonable price, honest and no BS. I’ll be coming back for their services.

Been coming here a couple of years and the work is good and the pricing clear. They have a system where they do an inspection and send photos which is good for catching things that need doing.

I live close to Dave's shop and even though there are always places that can change your oil for less money, I go to them because I know they take it seriously and do a fantastic job every single time. Last year they discovered an oil leak on my car that had less than 1K miles before warranty expired, saving me… Read full review

Great service! I brought my 10 year old car in for a spa day that included checking out my squeeky brakes, an oil change, air filter, windshield wipers, and 4 new tires in advance of a road trip. Finding a trustworthy auto shop can be tough (in my experience) but there’s a reason I’ve been going back to Ace for 4 years. Their team is so kind, patient, knowledgeable and transparent about services and what my car needs (or doesn’t need) and never pressure me. They text/email a full report so you can review on… Read full review

I’ve used Ace two times now and had great experiences with both. One for a tire change and another for oil change. Always friendly and helpful staff, knowledgeable and able to communicate clearly on the needs of the vehicle. Timely as well! Friends have also used them and had similar experiences. I’ve never felt scammed or overcharged and that means a lot.

Very friendly and professional. They got the job done right and were enjoyable to work with. This was my first time there and I definitely plan to return

This is an excellent shop! Never before have I felt so confident that I was being given accurate information and a good price on car repairs. I was treated kindly and with respect. One of the representatives even texted me the following week to see if everything is still going ok with my vehicle. I’ll be back next time I need my car serviced!

I had a great experience with Ace Auto Repair & Tire Pros in Shoreline. I recently took my son's 2011 Ford Fiesta to get new tires, two new rims (wheels), a new clutch and an oil change and more... Elijah was a joy to talk to and was very fast in responding to my emails and did a great job communicating with me… Read full review

Love Ace!! Really kind, knowledgeable staff. I'm a car novice and I've always appreciated how Ace staff explain my car's issues in a way that's courteous and respectful and their prices are reasonable. I live in the neighborhood and recommend them to friends.

The folks at Ace are very kind and courteous. So helpful and patient! My car came back to me in great shape and their turnaround time was quick! I will definitely be coming back: Thanks guys!

They fixed my car including fixing problems I was not aware of. Price was reasonable and it was all done in less than 24 hours from when I first called in.

Every experience I've had here has been positive. They are helpful and get the job done. They also are transparent with other issues that may need fixing soon, but do not pressure you and overwhelm you with having to make those changes.

I have been going to this shop almost exclusively for the last 5+ years because they are fair, trustworthy and punctual. Their work is excellent and I have never had a recurrent problem after a repair (a lot more than I can say for some other local shops). The pricing may be slightly higher than a bargain shop, but… Read full review

Top notch service and repair. Done right the first time. Friendly, well priced, my go to guys for the best service in town!

Ace was a good shop prior to Covid. Then the virus took over their brains! Other that a time they lost my appointment and I ended up waiting for an extended period of time, Ace did good work fast. Another shop with a smaller waiting area kept their waiting area open for a max of 3 people while Ace Auto Repair shut… Read full review

Called hoping for a same day service and they told me to come drop off my car when I liked. Got my oil changed and a couple filters changed. My car was ready in a couple hours. Quick and easy!

Been taking our cars here for several years. They do a great job for a fair price, and are mindful of cost vs benefit on our older vehicles. We're lucky to have them in the neighborhood.

Great place, highly recommend

Second time using Ace's services for my Honda Accord. Very happy with their service and the cost. I will definitely use them again and highly recommend them.

I’ve been goin to Dave and his crews place for several years now. All my fleet vehicles and personal vehicles get done here, matter of fact I drive 50 miles one way just to make sure the job is done right, and it always is. Can’t talk them up enough, seriously. If yo live in Seattle or the greater Seattle area and… Read full review

Had a suspension system installed. Was a tough job and these guys were awesome. Fair price and quick.

The service provided was satisfactory and well-priced. However, I’m extremely hesitant to return to Ace during the COVID-19 pandemic as none of the staff wore masks while interacting with myself and other customers. I would not expect the mechanics to wear masks while in the shop, but was very surprised that no… Read full review

As always: excellent diagnosticians; professional work done right the 1st time; car ready on time; clear channels of communication; no scare tactics or taken advantage of because I'm a woman; basically - no B.S....and did I say friendly? All these things are why they've been my mechanics for the past decade. Kudos, guys!

Chris and Dave have always been a pleasure to work with. They are knowledgeable and treat me and my truck with respect. I know my vehicles are in good hands and I will always recommend Ace auto repair and tire pros to my friends and family.
