I so happy I found Alter’d Culture! Gwyneth was my stylist and was amazing and super helpful! She also gave me styling tips so I could replicate the look at home. All of the other staff who were there were also extremely nice! 10/10 recommend and have I have already scheduled a follow up appointment for a trim!

Abba listened well to what I wanted, but it was also clear that she knew what she was doing. I have had problems with stylists being dismissive when I asked for their opinion, but she was really helpful. The photo in the purple sweater is the before, and the black shirt is after!

It was an amazing experience! Erica took care of my hair and gave me what I asked for, actually a lot better. She cut it exactly the way I wanted it and it looked gorgeous at the end. She's really kind and really hears you out to give you the best results!
10/10 , reasonable prices for high quality results. So happy I gave them a chance. Erika was my stylist , she cut , styled , and did a bang trim perfectly for me. Abba was my stylist previously and did just as wonderfully.

These people are amazingly wonderful with my three-year-old daughter. She hates getting her bangs cut and has a fit, but they do such a great job with keeping her calm and cutting her bangs. Such nice people and do a very good job. They do a great job and give me lots of suggestions with my own hair as well.
I'm new to the Louisville area I moved here recently from PA. I think the most anxiety I had was the fact that I had to find a new hairdresser but my first time there that was all relieved quickly. It definitely will be my go-to now. Thank you for such a great experience.
Jazzmyne was awesome & gave me exactly what I asked for. All the other hairdressers/people working there were super friendly and the place has good vibes 10/10 recommend!
I loved this place so much! The stylists are so accommodating and kind. They were helpful and thoughtful, and answered any questions I had thoroughly and honestly. I can confidently say that this is the only salon I have ever been to which cut and styled my hair according to my hair type. Will definitely be returning.
I have been seeing Erika for several years and she’s the best with my curly hair! Always recommending new curl techniques and products and always so sweet! Love getting to sit in her chair every couple months and would recommend her to anyone for a simple cut or a fresh color!!

Love love loved my experience with this salon! Rayne made me feel so relaxed and like we’ve been friends for years. Cannot wait to go back, I’ve never had an experience like that any other place in this area. My hair look great and was exactly what I wanted. 10/10 definitely recommend!
