We are new transplants to Elkins, and have been putting off finding a Vet for our beloved American Bulldog. He is very large and intimidating, and can be a grouchy handful around new people. Dr. White and her team handled him with obvious love and caring. For the human interaction, they were first rate.…
We love, Appalachian animal Hospital, and Yoki really likes Dr. Atkins! She does not like all people, but I can tell even though she is stressed she likes her doctor! My visit was for my dog's comprehansive exam w/blood test and fecal lab, and a couple of routine shots. Dr. White was down on the floor with, and treated my pet with the same gentleness and love that we do. I would think of going nowhere else if possible. I would assume that the price was appropriate, but I have nothing else with which to compare.

The visit was great! Loki was very well looked after. Dr White is great!! Everyone at the office is very friendly and courteous.

I get the best, consistent veterinary care and services for my dogs here. They are very accommodating with appointments. Staff are always pleasant. Grooming services are also available which I use for both dogs. I'm very happy they are here in Elkins.
