Tomas is a wonderful person to work with. He made sure everything was done properly and to my satisfaction.
I had a great experience with Arias Contractor. Tomas was thoughtful about the details, communicated throughout the process, and made sure everything was handled properly. I really appreciated how he worked through the different parts of the project and kept things organized. It's not easy finding a contractor you…
Tomas and his team did a great job for our knob and tube replacement and several upgrades on our old property. Very nice people to have around the house and good communication. We’ll certainly hire this team in the future again.
We couldn't be happier with the full remodel of our 1890s home. Tomas and his team handled everything, including new flooring throughout, a complete kitchen and bathroom remodel, added closets, and painting, and the work was excellent from start to finish. They were punctual and stayed on budget the whole way…
Tomas and his team are amazingly conscientious and thorough in their work. Tomas has done remodel and maintenance work on our SF home for over a decade. Most recently, Tomas coordinated a team of plumbers, electricians and tilers to install two gas fireplaces in our 1940 San Francisco building. This was not a…
This was my first meaningful home renovation (kitchen and bath) and I was, I think understandably, nervous about all the things I've heard of going wrong with construction projects. I had a great experience with Arias Contractor. Tomas was thoughtful about the details, communicated throughout the process, and made sure everything was handled properly. I really appreciated how he worked through the different parts of the project and kept things organized. It's not easy finding a contractor you feel comfortable trusting with your home, but the experience gave us confidence in our choice. I'd definitely consider Arias Contractor again for future projects.
Tomás and Arias Contractor are exactly what a contractor should be, honest, efficient, and expedient. We had a botched repair job from a previous contractor that left a hole in our roof and caused our kitchen ceiling to collapse. We took bids from several different contractors, but Arias Contractor was the only one who acknowledged the urgency of the situation and offered to start right away. The price was fair (even lower than some of the other bids) and the work superb. They did such a great job that we hired them again to stucco and repaint our home. That job was complicated, requiring scaffolding etc., but Arias had everything under control. The workers arrive when they say they will and Tomás is always available (or promptly returns calls) whenever we had questions or concerns. That job was done on time and the work was exceptional. (Several neighbors have complimented our new facade!) We have hired them again to renovate our backyard and the peace of mind of having a fair and honest contractor has alleviated all anxiety about the job. Don’t be dissuaded by the Spanish outgoing message on the phone, Tomás speaks/understands English. Leave a message with the scope of your job and he will get back to you. I will definitely be using them again in the future.

We couldn't be happier with the full remodel of our 1890s home. Tomas and his team handled everything, including new flooring throughout, a complete kitchen and bathroom remodel, added closets, and painting, and the work was excellent from start to finish. They were punctual and stayed on budget the whole way through, which isn't easy with an older home. Tomas was always honest with his opinions when we asked for input, never just telling us what we wanted to hear, and he had great contacts for anything outside his own scope. He was also very attentive to detail, and even came back after we moved in to take care of a few small items without us having to ask twice. Highly recommend Tomas and his team if you want a contractor who's skilled, honest, and easy to work with.
This was not a straightforward project, with lots of planning and coordination of the various contractors required. Tomas stayed on top of each twist and turn in the project implementation and remained very flexible and pleasant throughout. Highly recommend Tomas for your SF home renovation needs!
We were very lucky to be referred to Tomás and his team for help with repairs and upgrades to an older home we recently purchased in San Francisco. Initially, we thought the house only needed new interior paint and a new wood floor in one room, but we found several issues around the house that needed fixing. We also had new ideas, which Tomás gladly made happen. Over the several weeks and multiple projects, Tomás has been an outstanding communicator. He is very responsive and patient, because he is truly committed to his clients’ satisfaction. Importantly, Tomás is an experienced and skilled problem solver who has handled every issue that has come up, including electrical, plumbing, floors, detailed painting, and random repairs. Tomás and his team provide extremely high quality work that he guarantees. We completely trust and value Tomás and his team, and we cannot recommend him highly enough! We will be working with him on additional major projects next year as well.
This was my first meaningful home renovation (kitchen and bath) and I was, I think understandably, nervous about all the things I've heard of going wrong with construction projects. However, it was obvious from very early on that Tomas and team were going to be meticulous about the work they did. It was also clear from pictures that I showed my friends, who are more familiar with home renovations than I am, that this team went above and beyond in terms of the cleanliness and consideration they put in to all of their work. From managing debris, both in my unit and the common areas, to cooperating with the HOA and neighbors, to following up on any (small) fix-ups that were need after the project was complete, I can't say enough about how easy it was to work and feel at ease with Tomas and his team and I would be happy to recommend them to anyone who needs work done.
Excellent work and Friendly staff! Timely and helpful! Fully recommend!
Tomas and his team were professional, quick without losing quality of their work, true partners in thinking through options and design, and most of all, kind. They adapted when I needed changes, they noticed issues and offered solutions, and they did it with grace. I can highly recommend their services.
