My daughter has found friendship, strength, rigor, kindness and joy while dancing at Art in Motion for the last 3 years. The instructors and owners have so much intentionality with the way they interact with and conduct themselves with each dancer. Kindness and positivity all around and we are so happy to be a part of it!
My daughter has been dancing at AIM since 2021. She loves it! The studio is her second home and her fellow dancers and teachers, her second family. She knows all of her teachers truly care about her and want her to be not only the best dancer she can be, but the best person inside and out.
This is our daughter's 3rd year attending Art in Motion. We had no knowledge of anything regarding dance but she wanted to give it a try. Everyone at AIM was, and continues to be, so welcoming and patient as we navigate the dance world. Tricia, Chad, Skylee and the rest of the AIM staff are truly passionate about…

This is our daughter's 3rd year attending Art in Motion. We had no knowledge of anything regarding dance but she wanted to give it a try. Everyone at AIM was, and continues to be, so welcoming and patient as we navigate the dance world. Tricia, Chad, Skylee and the rest of the AIM staff are truly passionate about dance and especially each of their dancers. My daughter is shy and often takes a while to warm up to people but they have taken the time needed for her to get out of her shell and to make her shine. She is now on AIM's company team and is excited to learn, grow, and build closer relationships with other dancers and staff. Her confidence has skyrocketed and it is clear that she truly enjoys going to dance every week. Her progress and growth as a dancer is evident. Thank you!
My two daughters have danced at Art in Motion since they were 2.5 & 3 years old - this is our tenth year at the studio. I originally chose AIM because of its reputation and the variety of classes they offered. (I loved that they offered musical theater, hip hop, lyrical, contemporary, in addition to staples like tap, ballet, and jazz). My oldest daughter has been on the competitive team for six years and calls the studio her home away from home! My youngest happily took a variety of recreation dances and looked forward to the recital every year (and she just this year joined the company team so we've had years of experiencing the studio from all sides of what they offer!). What is impressive about AIM is the high-level instruction they receive. Classes at all levels (from small toddler classes all the way up to advanced lines) are taught by award-winning choreographers and instructors with degrees and ample training in dance. The impressive professional and alumni network the owners have fostered over the years also benefits dancers through annual workshops available to all AIM students. Besides for the skills they've learned here, the friendships are something they'll treasure forever. More importantly, the instructors and owners create a supportive environment wherein the dancers are taught to respect and value themselves and others and see their bodies as the vehicle through which their talent and strength is showcased in this artistic sport. I have no doubt I'll be watching at least one of my girls dance there until she graduates from high school and look forward to the studio being a regular presence in our family's life until then.

This is the 12th year our daughter has been dancing at Art In Motion; her 7th year on the competition company. It is her home away from home! The dance training is top notch and the kids are exposed to instructors and choreographers from all across the country. Art In Motion consistently brings home top awards at competitions - and this is often against big studios from BIG cities! What has kept us part of the studio year after year is all that our daughter has learned beyond dance. She has learned a strong work ethic and excellent time management skills. I have no doubt the studio has also played a big part in building her self-confidence. She is surrounded by teachers and peers that push her to excel in all areas of her life - not just dance. She has consistently described the atmosphere as kind, compassionate and non-judgemental. Any time I have brought a concern to the studio owners, they have listened and responded in a caring manner. It is evident they care about all of their students and want to create a positive, nurturing environment through dance.

Art in Motion has been a wonderful experience for our dancer. For the past 8 years, he has rapidly grown in skill and confidence and is now a polished young performer. I'm impressed not only with the skill level of the dancers, but the professionalism they are able to show with each performance. This comes from great preparation. The AIM staff makes dancing fun while instilling strong technique at all levels. But I think what strikes me the most is the commitment to developing the dancers as young people and preparing them for life after dance. Most won't move on to be professional dancers, but the lessons they are learning at this studio will prepare them to do great things regardless of where their paths take them. I am so happy we chose Art in Motion all those years ago and I continue to love this studio for my dancer.
