Louis and his team remediated a utility room, flooring and a full bath in our walkout basement. He was thorough, punctual, and uniquely equipped with excellent communication skills to explain scope of work and set expectations. We were consistently impressed with his work ethic and kindness. He is also very knowledgeable and experienced with how homes are built and that was a huge asset to us in understanding our water damage issues. Don’t bother going with any other estimate or contractor. Louis is fair and honest, stick with his company and you’re set.

Louis went above and beyond in our basement asbestos abatement. He explained everything well. This included the true severity of the situation, his process of removal (not all are created equal) and he presented a very competitive price. He gave updates throughout the process and even came back to do an additional project for us on a Sunday! Could not recommend AMS enough.
As a realtor, it's crucial for me to have a list of skilled and dependable contractors to suggest to my clients. It's important that these contractors not only excel at their trade, but also need to be reliable, trustworthy and personable as they indirectly represent me. I was delighted to discover Louis and his company, Asbestos & Mold Specialists. Louis is a true professional - knowledgable, attentive, courteous and respectful. His commitment to his work is evident, and he approaches his work with thoroughness and a sense of pride. I'm excited to have him as one of my trusted contractors and will not hesitate to recommend him to any of my clients.
Had a small flood in my basement which resulted in ruining my carpet. Under the carpet was very old tile and adhesive which contained asbestos. I reached out to a few companies and decided to go with Asbestos Mold Specialists. Louis replied to me within a few minutes which was amazing. After some text messaging and a quick phone call, he was my go to. Even though it’s December 22nd, he arrived on a Saturday and spend 4 or so hours to remove the existing carpet, remove the old tiles, and encapsulated the old adhesive. Very happy! Thank you, Louis! Appreciate the work.
After a mid-December rainstorm, I finally had enough of the mildewed carpet that was laid on top of asbestos tile since we were advised not to remove the tile without proper remediation. I called Asbestos Mold Specialists and Louis came out the next day (Wednesday) to assess the situation. I immediately felt at ease with his professionalism and kind demeanor. He was able to get to our house on Friday and spend the entire day working so diligently. When he finished, I was amazed when I peeked down at my basement. The bad smell, gross carpet and old tiles were gone. I can’t wait to get down there once the sealant is dried and reclaim. We recommend Louis
Great experience.., very well spoken and explained everything I needed to know, handled the situation, and we're very pleased with the outcome 👍👍
Louis did a great job! Very communicative and went above requested work to make sure all mold and signs of potential mold were gone. Came within a week of calling and completed the job. Thank you!
