Very professional and prompt. Called one day and they got me in the next morning to diagnose the problem. After dropping it off this morning, they had the thermostat diagnosed within two hours. Ordered parts and fixed the day after that.
Pleasant team every time I've taken my car in for service! Fair pricing and quick service! Thank you!!!
Genuinely one of the best experiences i’ve had with a mechanic ever. full transparency and communication the whole time, plus the staff are super sweet and explained everything to me w out being rude the way other mechanics might be. would 100% recommend and will be a repeat customer for sure!
Stopped in last week because my car was overheating and on a separate note my air conditioner was not working well. Megan at the front made me feel heard and welcome! They took my car in last minute and did a top to bottom check and help me fix all the things that I've been neglecting for the past 6 years. Zach was…
Best automotive shop in Austin!!
Very professional. Easy to understand estimate. Great communication and fast service
Friendly staff, reliable service, and transparent practices. Absolutely love coming here, and highly recommend to anyone.
I’ve been to most of the popular automotive repair shops. Unfortunately they have employees who are more installers than technicians. AutoTek is one of the few places left in Austin, TX that has actual trained mechanics that diagnose problems. When you get your vehicle back from them it’s with confidence the…
We have used AutoTek for years and I trust their work. And they are lovely humans. Thank you!
Quick work. Reasonable price.
Everyone who works here is so honest, respectful and knowledgeable. This visit I worked with Brandon and he was outstanding. Very quick responses to all my communications. I really appreciate that before any service is completed they go over it with you and include you in the process. They will let you know what is…
Very thorough and quick with it. Car’s running real good!
The guys at Autotek have serviced several of my vehicles with consistent results. Expect great service, reasonable price and honest mechanics here. I plan to bring my business here for years to come. Definitely recommend. A+
The professional personable service has been consistently maintained since I discovered them 25 years ago.
Been using Auto Tek for years. They are friendly, explain the problems with the car, and don’t pressure you. They also do good work. The prices are reasonable.
I need to drop off my car before they opened and pick it up three days later on a Saturday when they were closed. So everything was done via phone, text or email. They have a communication system that lets you see exactly what’s being done and you will be given the opportunity to approve each service individually.…
Autotek is a great family owned shop. They make you feel well taken care of and the prices are right.
This place is a breath of fresh air after experiences with Other Places. Friendly, didn't try to upsell, just explained clearly what was needed and might be needed at another time. I'll bring my cars here from now on!
Best car shop in town. Honest and helpful
You did exactly what was needed. You do it right.
The service was good but the price seemed a bit higher than I m used to. I'm new to the area.
Great communication, quick and efficient work, they were straightforward with me through the whole process. All staff were very polite. They made a poor situation a very pleasant experience.
I am very happy with Auto Tek's many years of great service, and clear trustworthy advise. We have all of our family vehicles serviced by Auto Tek.
I appreciated the flexibility provided by the team and accommodating a last minute drop off. Great communication, transparency, and overall great work on the car. They were able to fix my MAF and explain other things needed for my car after further diagnostics. Will definitely return for regular maintenance.
They fixed my car very quickly. Thank you Megan for the great communication. Will come again, but hopefully not too soon
Very honest and trustworthy shop. They aren’t out to upsell you or recommend service you don’t actually need.
Amazing experience. Detailed report with pictures giving prospective to needed repairs. Explained in detail what was a priority and what could wait. Friendly and informative staff. 10/10
I’ve been a customer for years and their staff always tells me straight what needs to be done and what’s a nice to have - compared to the dealerships which always say everything is urgent. They are thorough, personable and do a great job with repairs. I’ll definitely be bringing my cars here for many more years to come!
Always a good experience. The only place I take my vehicles
Excellent communication
I took my vehicle in needing a full inspection of the suspension and fuel system. They did an excellent job giving the whole car the inspection it needed and we took care of the outstanding items accordingly. As well as finding some other things that were equally as important that we took care of. But it wasn't hard…
The folks at Autotek are friendly, helpful and professional. It is a pleasure doing business with them
I’ve been going to AutoTek for over 10 years now, ever since a Honda dealership gave me a $3–4K estimate and AutoTek did only the necessary work for about half the price. They were honest then about what didn’t actually need to be replaced, and they’ve been just as straightforward ever since. This is the third car…
Brandon and the staff at Auto Tek did a great job with fixing my car. I will be coming here from now on for my maintenance needs for my other cars.
Extremely professional and thorough with the diagnosis of my vehicle. They provide photos of every area of your vehicle. No work is started without consultation and consent especially if something looks suspicious or needs immediate attention. I recommend this business as your first stop for vehicle maintenance or concerns. Period!
Excellent, professional, friendly service at all stations. Many thanks! Michael 9-29-23
Excellent communication and customer service
We love AutoTek. We bring all our company’s vehicles here for buyer’s checks and regular maintenance. They’re thorough, honest and we’re always pleased with the service. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a great shop!
I had a great experience with my Infiniti QX80. Very professional, thorough, polite, and timely. I will definitely be coming back to Auto Tek in the future. Aaron and Michael were awesome!
The outstanding communication and thoroughness is extremely appreciated.
Michael and team are great. Will be back.
Great communication. Super easy drop off/pick up. They’re awesome.
Family-run shop with honest, transparent pricing. After issues at the dealership with my Honda Civic, Auto Tek replaced my air intake hose the same day. Great service they definitely have my business moving forward! (Thank u Brandon)
Auto Tek has some of the best mechanic's I've had the pleasure of working with. I really can't imagine myself using anyone else's services again. I finally feel like I found a mechanic that I will always take my car to, and be happy about it. The team at Auto Tek is incredibly impressive. They are thorough in…
Always trustworthy & honest.
My favorite part about this place is how thorough and transparent they are about showing you what’s going on with your vehicle. They send easy-to-understand descriptions of each issue, and even include pictures of each thing they check. They also call and explain everything going on with your car in simple terms. 10/10 would return.
The responsivity cannot be beat! I even got a follow up call a few days later to make sure I was still happy. Unheard of customer service (and the car works great, too!) UPDATE (11/1/2022) -- Once again, Auto Tek staff hit it out of the park. Great service and workmanship. I'm a dedicated customer forever!…
The only mechanic I trust. They're a family owned business, know their customers well, and do the job right the first time. HIGHLY recommend Auto Tek!
I can’t say enough good things about Autotek! They are professional, honest, and great mechanics. Highly recommend!
We’ve been going to AutoTek for over 10 years and they continue to be the best in the business. This time, my alternator went out and they said they couldn’t get me on the books for over a week, but if I was ok dropping off without a set time, they could try and squeeze me in. They ended up being able to do so, and…
Kind, transparent, and professional. Best auto shop in Austin hands down! I really appreciate the work these folks do.
Aaron and the staff are amazing at Autotek. My car runs better now then when I first bought it. Highly recommend these folks. Ernie Durawa- Texas Tornados Band
Truly superior service! They communicate with me every step of the way, send me pictures/videos of what’s wrong, the progress of their work and their final product. I honestly can’t say enough good things about them!
This is a new post, my last one was four months ago. I took my 2018 Rav4 in for routine maintenance on 12/20/23. Auto Tek has also done a great job on my 2016 Nissan Altima. Auto Tek is the best car repair facility I have ever used. I needed repairs on my Toyota Rav 4 Hybrid. I had terrible experiences with several…
Very friendly and expert staff.
Auto Tek always takes care of our auto repair needs in a timely manner. I would recommend them to anyone needing repair work.
Matt and the team at auto tek were so enjoyable to work with! I am looking forward to using them again for my car repair needs.
Best service ever! Everyone I met with at AutoTek was super pleasant and easy to work with (shout out to Matt, David and Aaron). I needed a lot of maintenance, but they were very up-front with which services I could wait on to lower the cost to me (did not push me to order services that weren't absolutely necessary…
Great service, fair prices. I’m glad I found this place.
As a young lady in college, it’s tough to find trustworthy auto repair that doesn’t make you feel unsafe or like you’re being scammed. Auto Tek has gone to every measure to ensure that I never feel either of those things. They are transparent, do great service, and are kind— I will continue to return to AutoTek for…
Great service. Everyone was very nice. Michael walked us thru the needed repairs. The information and videos shared by text helped us make decisions without pressure.
Personal, professional, detailed, on time.
This place is BUSY, and I can absolutely understand why. They communicated with me before my appointment and during my service. I really appreciated the attention to detail and pictures along the way. 10/10 would recommend. They also offer a military discount!
Always honest and dependable!
I’ve been using Autotek for almost four years now and I have never been more pleased with any mechanic. They are honest and knowledgeable and genuinely care about their customers. I brought in my old van and they found a serious issue that would have required an engine rebuild to fix, and even that wasn’t a sure…
Always personal, helpful, and honest with their diagnostics, even if it might be costly. Not to mention, once they repair an issue, it is no longer an issue. I have been going to Auto Tek for 10+ years and will continue going to Auto Tek for years to come.
Very respectful, timely, and helpful!
No joke, this is the best mechanic experience ever. Better than the dealership. Better than the dudes on the corner by your house. (Unless those dudes are Auto Tek.) Communication was pristine. Documentation of my vehicle's issues INCLUDED photographs, so I could actually see with my own eyes the problems they…
Everyone at Auto Tek was so great to work with. Very responsive, affordable, great service. They even got my vehicle back to me a day earlier than expected. I can't recommend them highly enough and am so glad they are in my neighborhood.
They were so nice, not pushy. they were matter of fact with what is going on with my car. They provide detailed explanations of everything with pics and go through the options
This is the best mechanic shop I have ever dealt with! I brought my car in for an issue with the AC on a Wednesday. Before the end of the day I had a full detailed report of what they found and a full inspection of my vehicle with photos. They pointed out another issue I was sort of aware of but didn’t know the…
Everyone at AutoTek is extremely kind and knowledgeable. I have an older car so every time something comes up, they are quick to give me an honest answer and solution. Their prices are fair and I always appreciate how well things are explained to me.
We have used AutoTek for over 10 years and no one has better customer service and turnaround time than Aaron and his guys
I’d rather buy a car out of warranty so I can take it here instead of the dealership.
Easy drop off, clean facilities, extremely nice staff. I was up to date regarding my repair via text link and mechanic. Although I had to wait a couple of weeks for appointment it was well the wait. Finally, a mechanic I can trust. Thank you!
This is the only place in Austin I’ll take my car and the only place I recommend to friends. Everyone at Autotek is so kind, trustworthy, transparent, knowledgeable, the list goes on - I’ve never felt so trusting of an auto place. Andreah has the sweetest demeanor - so grateful for the staff here!
I had an unexpected issue arise and needed to find shop quick. I am so glad I found and chose Auto Tek! Man, from getting a quote, talking with Aaron about the issues and requests, all the image documentation, and the follow-up was all a well oiled machine! Everything was explained clearly. No pressure to get more…
Reliable, trustworthy service. Matt took awesome care of my vehicle and she runs smoother than when I first bought her. 💯
I’ve worked with AutoTek for many years now. Several different vehicles. The peace of mind I have knowing how exceptional the work is here far exceeds what ever reasonable rates I’ve ever paid for service. Always efficient and clear to understand. And a pleasure to communicate with. Thanks AutoTek!
By far the best auto-repair shop in Austin. I worked with Michael and he was extremely transparent and communicative throughout the entire process. They were able to fix the issues I was having at a fraction of the cost I was expecting to pay. Not to mention my tire got a flat on the way there by the towing company…
I typically loathe having to take my car in for repairs due to bad experiences and having been overcharged in the past. I brought my car in for replacement of a serpentine belt and an oil change. I have never had a more pleasant experience with any other auto repair shop. The whole job cost me 1/5 what I had been…
I was referred to AutoTek for an alignment after getting new tires across the street, and needed some other repairs as well. I spoke often with Michael, Aaron, and David throughout my repairs and they were so incredibly kind, warm, and informative. I had some extensive work that needed to be done, and Michael and…
I can't explain how thrilled I am to have found this amazing locally run business. This is NEXT LEVEL customer service, professional auto repair and all at an affordable price! You have my heart Auto Tek! Bravo!
I cannot say enough good things about Auto Tek. These guys are the most helpful, communicative, and honest mechanics I've ever used, hands down. Their prices are always fair, the work they do is outstanding, and they are just darn kind and friendly people. I highly and enthusiastically recommend them to anyone in need!
