I’m heartbroken to write this review, especially because I knew AshLeigh through a close friend. Her initial communication was reassuring, and she seemed to understand our vision for a small, 50-person wedding. We had already planned the event and hired her for setup, day-of coordination, and teardown. Unfortunately, repeated missed details and poor communication significantly affected our day.
We had venue access at 6 a.m., but setup did not begin until after 9 a.m. I recognize she had two truckloads to transport, but multiple things were still late, incorrect, or unfinished. Centerpieces and place settings did not match the photos I provided. Dessert plates crowded the already limited table space before dinner. My family corrected the centerpieces, nearly making them late to the ceremony. My mom also found my arrangement of three dozen roses in the kitchen and had to intervene to have it displayed.
Agreed-upon string lights were not hung, and no one told us so we could troubleshoot. No setup was done at the chapel. The band was placed where we intended to have our first dance instead of outside as discussed, contributing to that dance never happening.
During dinner, AshLeigh was absent for approximately two hours, leaving my husband to coordinate with caterers. Our signature cocktail was served incorrectly despite prepared ingredients being available, and my best friend was met with an argument when she tried to help. When the bartender left to buy more ice, my sister’s best friend stepped in to bartend. The sound system’s necessary auxiliary cord was also missing, requiring another trip.
What hurt most was feeling that important conversations had not been heard. AshLeigh did not recognize my mom despite our visiting her warehouse together. Afterward, she said she had given items to my dad. My father was not in attendance—a painful circumstance we had specifically discussed during planning.
These were not isolated mistakes. My husband, family, and friends spent meaningful parts of our wedding correcting problems instead of celebrating with us.
Afterward, I requested a conversation to understand her perspective before leaving a review. Her response blamed the short planning window, despite initially reassuring us that nearly everything was done. She also pointed to hair, makeup, alterations, and photography, vendors we had no complaints about. I did not feel our specific concerns were acknowledged or meaningfully addressed.
Mistakes happen, but accountability and respectful communication matter. The treatment of my family and friends while they tried to help was especially upsetting. We allowed nearly two weeks for a private resolution and remain willing to update this review if one occurs.

As a wedding photographer - getting to work a wedding with AshLeigh was amazing.
