AWS Automotive

We’ve been taking our cars here for years, with good reason. AWS really is the best. Caleb and crew are strongly committed to their craft and to their customers. I can’t tell you how many times they’ve gone above and beyond for us. Customers for life.

First time customer, where I called at the end of the day to see if AWS Automotive (AWS) could look into an improperly working fan motor on my son’s 2013 Mazda 3; I also asked for an oil change. To my surprise the shop was able to get me in first thing the next morning. AWS called me and gave me their preliminary… Read full review

They were excellent! Great price. When something felt a little off when I got my car back they fixed the issue and didn’t charge me anything. Keep in mind this was a big job. They had to pull the whole engine. They rock!

Update: Oct 6, 2025. AWS Automotive is the 'BEST'. I can't say enough about Caleb, Jason, and the technicians. As I expected, they went way over the top to make sure I received 5-star service. It's like they wouldn't settle for anything less. On all levels, they are professional, as well as polite, friendly.… Read full review

Prompt, thorough and professional, and awfully nice.

Caleb and his staff are amazing! Great, efficient work and no surprise price changes! I refer them every chance I get. Super honest in everything they do. 😊

One million stars! So friendly and professional, my car always leaves better than it went in. Very efficient and great prices, thank you AWS for making sure my vehicle is in tip-top condition!

Very happy with the top mechanics servicing my car.

Just moved in from Oceanside and my bug eye WRX was acting up. Found this great shop online and they got me back on the road in no time. They have earned my business from this point on, you will not be disappointed. I have now taken about 5 different vehicles now. Caleb and his crew are great and will get your… Read full review

i have an older SUV. The automatic lock on the back window failed leaving it permanently locked. The dealer charged $300.00 diagnosis to tell me the needed part was no longer made. AWS did a workaround and fixed it for $70.00

I had a battery on my Pruis replaced. It took a bit longer to get the right battery, but Caleb kept me up to date on every step. My car runs perfectly now. I great place to take your car!

AWS Automotive was a great experience... great location, friendly team and a quick turnaround! Will definitely be back.

Quick, easy, good location for me, reasonably priced.

Has a new water pump installed and the pump turned out to be faulty. Caleb made it right at no extra cost to me.

I am a long term customer that has always been very pleased with the service and advice I have received from these guys. I think they have built a very good reputation for themselves: friendly, trustworthy and competent for many years now.

They serviced my car in a professional manner, finished the work in a timely manner for a price that was reasonable. A good, solid job.

Always great service. The only issue is if you make an appointment via their website, it doesn’t work (no one contacts you). Best to just call the office. The website thing is a new issue, as in the past this seemed to work.

Stay away from AWS at all costs, they take a week just to look at your car, and then charge you 150 DOLLARS to do so. I was charged 800 dollars in pure labor alone just to replace an oil cooler when the part alone runs no more than 200 dollars. Not to mention the additional 150 they charge for looking at it. Caleb and his team did a great job replacing my vehicle’s fuel injector and battery. Great customer service and professionalism.

Caleb always takes care of what I need and nothing more. Super professional as always and I continue to bring my cars here for repairs

I was very pleased with the quality of AWS’s work. Very professional and five stars for the excellent e-communication and ease of using. My new brakes and general maintenance make my car feel like a brand new car. Thanks!!!!

I appreciated the work performed on my car, as well as the conversation I had regarding a timeline for a future repair. Definitely recommend AWS.

If you’re in the greater Ventura area, go here! Caleb and his team are the best! I initially came to Caleb to redo the clutch on my truck, but have since kept coming back because his quality, service, and affordability is unbeatable! I’ve never had a mechanic truly care about helping people more than Caleb. He even… Read full review

I have been extremely impressed with AWS Automotive., from the reminders and confirmations of my appointment to the actual service and disclosure of the details of the service. I finally feel confident that I am getting professional service that will allow me to keep my vehicle for as long as I want.

So personable. So professional. Love these guys.

If you've always wanted a friend in the automotive repair industry than Caleb is your guy. I'm thankful for him and his team.

Caleb is a courteous and conscientious. Excellent service! I highly recommend AWS.

As usual, the folks at AWS did a great job. Caleb, in particular, was very helpful. He went over the results of the checkup on my car, explained what needed to be done, and gave an estimate of the cost. Due to some software problems, it took a while to get all that info sent to me, but he was patient with my calling often to get it. Thanks, AWS.

I have used AWS several times in the past 6 years for my 2000 Mustang GT and have never been disappointed. The repairs have been correct, the price fair, and the work in a timely manner. I will be back!

I was relieved to find a mechanic shop so close to home that provided professional fast service. I will certainly be back to have more work done on my vehicle. Thanks, Caleb!

Always a great experience! Thanks to Caleb and crew!

Caleb and his crew are professional and perform excellent service. I have taken multiple vehicles in for different repairs and have always been satisfied with the price I was charged for the repairs performed.

AWS recently did insurance work for me. After interacting with Caleb, the appraiser told me that, out of the Santa Barbara and Ventura County areas that she serves, there are 2 shops that she feels really put the customer first. One of those shops is AWS. I've been using AWS for years. I love the technology that… Read full review

Excellent friendly service, quality work; Thanks.

This is a good & honest shop, AWS did some diagnostic work on my truck recently for SMOG and while we had some issues, Caleb and his team were kind, understanding and professional, and we were able to work out a solution together, a really good experience overall from a situation that was a frustrating repair, I would absolutely recommend this shop

Best service ever with a complete report including pics for every step they did. 100% reliable. A friend of mine recommended this place and now I can say that they won a new faithful customer. Caleb and team are awesome professionals!! Best place in town

they’re the reason my nissan is still running, if not better than i got it off the lot. these guys are dope, seriously. i trust with my car, they’re honest and straight forward. couldn’t ask for a better mechanic.

AWS is the most friendly, fair and fast mechanic shop I have ever used! 10 stars!

Caleb and his staff are very straightforward regarding the required repairs and cost determination. Work is always performed in a timely manner and consistently we have returned to AWS for reliability. Rental car discounts are available as well. Clean shop and excellent service!

We have taken our 2004 Outlander to Caleb and the great crew at AWS multiple times over the years and have always found them to be courteous, respectful, detailed in their approach and never trying to over sell us on work that should be done to the vehicle. THAT is how you create repeat business. We will continue to give our business to AWS.

This was the best experience I’ve ever had at an auto shop. Caleb, the owner, is a true professional and not only gave extremely friendly service, but the most detailed and thorough rundown on every aspect of the car. I recommend AWS to everyone, you don’t find a business like this everyday. In a class of their own ....

AWS staff has always treated me with cheerful curtesy, and has always exhibited the highest quality skill in every repair. I will be a returning customer and highly recommend their work.

I recieved great service here. Professional, courteous, knowledgable. Have already referred 3 people and just bought a car that I will definitely be bringing to AWS. You might pay a little more, but it's more than worth it!

Caleb and the team are hands down the most pleasant, thorough, and professional shop I have visited. I live outside of Ventura, but still make the trip to visit them for maintenance and repairs! Truly A+ servicing for my Land Rover LR3.
