Barrett Tree Service East

We had a very positive experience...

We've used Barrett Tree Service for almost 20 years now (I remember when Trumbull used to come to do the estimates himself!). They do a great job keeping the trees in my yard healthy! They're on time and do a great job cleaning up after! Highly recommended!

As far as I can tell, the tree service is great. I had a little trouble communicating my requests about billing and was charged extra because of this.

courteous, knowledgeable and easy to communicate with

Company was quick to send out knowledgeable and friendly consultant who turned around a fast itemized plan to care for our trees. Work was scheduled in a timely manner and all staff we interacted with were professional and seemed to really care about our trees.

100% satisfied. Barrett walked the area, identified a plan, promptly removed a dead oak, and established a schedule for other work. They cleaned up after the tree removal, as well. I could not be more satisfied.

Used them for tree trimming service; not the cheapest but it seems like they knew and cared about tree health rather than just doing whatever works. Quick and clean work, no complaints.

Barrett Tree once again did a great job with our trees. They were professional and friendly from quote through execution, and I highly recommend them as trusted service providers.

My garden has been flourishing for many years under the stewardship of Barrett Tree Service. They take care of all aspects of tree care including the removal of a very large Norway Maple, yearly winter pruning, bio feeding as well as planting many additional specimens. Working with their expert arborist, Mr. Andac… Read full review

I had a great experience working with Alden and his team to plan out some new trees for our yard and to get some TLC for the existing ones. They've been very responsive when I've had questions and were very easy to work with.

Always available, extremely knowledgeable with a passion for forests and trees in urban environments. For those who care about the life of trees you can depend on Barrett.

I have a rental property where the tree over grew and started damaging the roof. Barrett had previously done some trimming for us on our primary home which I was very happy with. Our neighbots/friends also use Barrett and reported how happy they were. So I reached out again. The price was slightly higher than other… Read full review

We had tree work done the day after a huge snowstorm, and their team helped us shovel part of our walkways and our yard to be able to access the trees! Even with Mother Nature's added difficulties for their work, they did an outstanding job. 10/10!

Efficient, clear, and helpful!

Phil Perron, Hendrik Wenning, Zeke and Dan and their team members were excellent. Did a very professional job trimming and pruning our trees and had continued dialogue with us about how the work was being performed.

highly professional crew in every aspect of the scope of work

Barrett Tree Service East did a great job on our project from start to finish. They are knowledgable, responsible and responsive. Highly Recommend.

We had a wonderful experience with Barrett Tree Service East, Inc . The estimate was reasonable and the work was excellent.

Barrett Tree Service East is one of those rare vendors that make doing business easy from start to finish. Easy to deal with and they do good work.

Had trees trimmed back to prepare home for painting. Work was done on time and very professionally. Price was fair and reasonable for the volume of work.

Outstanding. Cheerful, responsive crew, superb supervision.

Keith was fantastic to work with.

Barrett Tree staff are extremely knowledgeable and do great work on our property. I especially appreciate their responsiveness and communication.

I have a crabapple tree that has looked lousy for over 20 years. Had someone come out and look at the tree, found out it had several issues from rust, moss, lichen and pests. After having Barrett come out and spray; this past spring, the tree flowered with a ton of new growth. the tree never looked better.

Excellent work. Arrangements are easy to make, and they come when they say they are going to come, and leave documentation of what they have done. We have had them come for several years to treat hemlocks for wooly adelgid, to protect an old ash from emerald ash borer, and to fertilize the ground under all of the… Read full review

Very knowledgeable, friendly, and professional!

I've used Barrett Tree Service for nearly ten years for all the properties I manage. They are professional, timely, and knowledgeable, particularly in the treatment and health of trees and shrubs. I keep them on a full year schedule.

Barrett has done lots of work for me over the years, from massive tree removal (with cranes lifting pieces over my house) to yearly spraying and tree trimming. I trust them completely and find them very organized, helpful, responsive and knowledgeable. Highly recommend.

Excellent work, very professional and skilled, helpful, thoughtful of neighbors, proactive and great to work with...appreciate the quality results! Also, excited to learn it is an employee cooperative...great to know!

We were very pleased with the professionalism of the workers. Our trees are hard to reach and the climbers did a great job. They were considerate of all our neighbors. They respected our property and that of our neighbors and made sure everything was cleaned up before they left. They arrived on time and walked… Read full review

Great experience from beginning to job completion!

Nothing but wonderful things to say about Barrett Tree. Everyone, especially Ben, was kind, thoughtful, knowledgeable and careful from planning our project to the end result. They listened to our concerns, provided extra care of the new patio and fence we just installed, were a pleasure to work with and a lot fun to… Read full review

We have one substantial weeping cherry in our very small urban yard on our patio. We love the tree because it provides shade, privacy and a great place for the birds and other wildlife. We did not want to cut it down. It was out of control. Arborist Alden Johnson came out to provide advice prior to the first and… Read full review

Everyone I interacted with at Barrett Tree was friendly, polite and professional. I've used 3 or 4 different tree companies over the years and Barrett Tree is by far the best. I will use them again without hesitation.

Very pleased with their work. They provided sound advice and charged what they quoted. They were very easy to work with throughout the entire process of getting four trees trimmed.

Pleasant to work with, and very professional. Would hire again.

A great job from start to finish. Thoughtful and throughly knowledgeable crew. Totally satisfied with the work.

Barrett recently did three large oaks around my house and a neighbor's house. The crew was responsive and clean. They went above and beyond pruning the trees and the cleanup afterwards. I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of tree pruning services.

The onsite team was excellent. very responsive, very professional, and did great work. would highly recommend them!

I've worked with Barrett for several years and found them consistently professional, informative, and pro-active. I would recommend them highly to anyone who needs any kind of tree services.

Amazing service and expertise. They are always wonderful to work with!

Everyone I have dealt with at Barrett has been helpful and knowledgeable. They get back to you quickly and their work is always excellent.

This is the second or third time we've used Barrett, and we've been pleased every time. Most recently, in addition to trimming a large oak, they removed a multitude of invasive vines and small volunteer trees. They were also very good about connecting to neighbors whose property they had to access to remove trimmed branches.

Fantastic and knowledgeable team - very satisfied with the work- nightly recommend

I appreciate that this team is concerned about overall tree health, and suggests tree removal only as a last option. They are professional and leave the property in beautiful shape.

Very professional, very helpful, down-to-earth, no-nonsense.

Fantastic, responsive team, did great work on a 3-story-high tree that needed a lot of pruning. Since starting the root treatment last year as well, the tree has sprouted new growth and is looking great.

Barrett performs tree trimming, tree pruning, and plant health care such as spraying, etc. on my property. First, they are very nice people who demonstrate care for their work and their customers. So, it's a pleasure to work with them. Their work is consistently excellent. They come when they say they are going… Read full review

I was very impressed with the service. I recommend them highly.

Barrett Tree East has been maintaining our trees for over 10 years. We have an assigned arborist that we work with who knows the property. They are professional, knowledgeable, responsive and do excellent work. We have a very large property and have used other tree companies over the years. Barrett is by far the best.

The Barrett crew is ah-maze-ing! From Keith the arborist who counseled us, to Mike the crane operator who threaded the needle to get the big machine into an incredibly tight space to Mike the crew chief who effectively managed a full day of multi-tasking to Liz and Isaac and Phil  (I think? I’m sorry I missed… Read full review

This is our 3rd time using Barrett’s Tree Service. They are the best! Polite, professional, and thorough. I will continue to use them in the future!

We've had Barrett do the work on our trees for about ten years. I can't say enough good things about them. The arborists are thoughtful, knowledgeable, and genuinely nice people. Their crews are absolutely amazing (as you'd know if you watched them seamlessly remove the enormous catalpa a mere 15 feet from our… Read full review

They were great. Pleasant, on-time, and cleaned everything up after themselves. Highly recommended.

What a breath of fresh air they are. They are professional, on-time (early), expert and efficient. They arrived at my house early. The team lead walked the property with me and reviewed what was to be done. Then they split up and started working. They removed a Colorado Blue Spruce that was sickly from a very… Read full review

Great communication. First, Marc, a tree expert, came out and surveyed our trees and bushes and made a plan for pruning. The day the work was being done, Marc came back out to check on the work that the Barrett team was doing. Superb service!

We used Barrett for this first time this year and their service was excellent. They were very communicative and made sure that they addressed our needs for the project.

We had a great experience with Barrett Tree Service. They were prompt, reliable and did a terrific job in fulfilling what we expected them to do. I would highly recommend them to others needing help with their trees.

The work was done very professionally, exactly as and when expected.

Barrett is simply the best. We've hired them twice for tree removal. The arborists are super knowledgable and offered some great suggestions. The crew is courteous, friendly, and neat as a pin!

We employed Barrett Tree Services to prune our large oak tree this winter. This was the second time we have used them (previously in early 2016) and we were just as satisfied. Their arborist - Keith - is excellent and the crew that did the work were very skillful, professional and courteous. Not the cheapest… Read full review

I have used Barrett Tree service for several years. I have them fertilize and trim trees, apply oil for protection from pests, do storm clean up, etc. They are knowledgeable, reliable and very professional. Couldn't ask for me.

Barrett's tree service provided an excellent service. We are very satisfied with the result. Not only was the crew very experienced, they were orderly, efficient and in constant communication as needed. We have used them before and will use them again without hesitation.

Barrett Tree is wonderful. Their tree specialists really know what they're talking about, the work is efficient, professional and friendly, and the prices are fine. I have recommended them to all my friends.

We've used Barrett for over 10 years for all of our tree care (treatments for diseases, trimming, bracing, and taking down an old tree. Always dependable and thoughtful about suggestions.

I've used Barrett at least twice on two huge hemlocks next to our house. Crew arrived on time, and as promised were done in about 3 hours. I think it was somewhat less. They did great work. Will keep my insurance agent happy.
