Honestly this guy was sexist. Would not recommend
My husband and I are first time home buyers and were looking for someone to inspect our first home. We came across Jim Battaglia's Home Inspections and read the great reviews. We were not disappointed. He was AMAZING! He was super helpful in explaining everything step by step without being condescending. He was thorough and honest. All the while making it a fun experiencing. I went into the experience anxious and nervous, and never thought a home inspection would be something we would enjoy, but we did. All around great experience! I would recommend him to anyone.

Jim Battaglia comes highly recommended from this customer. As a first time home buyer, I really had no idea what to expect during the home inspection or what the process would be. Jim was absolutely incredible throughout the process and took the time to educate me during the inspection and explain what he was looking for and why. For example, he explained how, sometimes, plumbers take shortcuts when installing certain piping (which happened in my case) to save on cost. (We ended up getting the correct piping replaced to code.) He patiently taught me about all of the electrical throughout the home and main switches that controlled everything as well as all of the important HVAC units. He was extremely thorough both on the interior and exterior of the home, filling up the sinks and tubs to check the drains, etc. He took pictures of all of the appliances to check and ensure nothing had been under a recall. Lastly, he was a pure professional. On the day of our scheduled inspection, the power company was performing maintenance in the neighborhood and had cut all of the power. He offered to reschedule to the following day to ensure the inspection was thorough. Working with Jim was the most memorable and informative part of my first-time home buying experience. I learned so many important things from him during the inspection. He was extremely valuable to me as a trusted advisor and I could not have been more pleased. If you are looking to schedule a home inspection, you don't have to look any further.....Battaglia Home Inspections is the cream of the crop. Thanks Jim!
