I thought the home inspector was very thorough and did a good job explaining things. I liked the amount of information in the report. The one part I was dissatisfied with is the fact that the past person that was outsourced did not check the attic. His report actually indicated that there wasn't attic access. The home inspector didn't think it was possible to access the attic either, but later found another entry point. Luckily, when the inspector was in the attic he did find signs of animal nesting and listed it on his inspection report. Even if the person from the pest company had been able to find the access to the attic, honestly I don't know that he would have been able to get into the attic anyway. He was an older, large man, walking with a cane and I don't know that the attic access would have accommodated him. It now makes me wonder how thorough the rest of his pest inspection was.
