This company was referred after online research, and we were extremely pleased with ease of getting a quote and timely removal of an extremely heavy commercial range/oven, taking care to protect hardwood floors. The owner himself was onsite to assist. Highly recommended.

Bay Area Demo and Hauling (John and his crew) did an excellent job in a concrete removal we needed to get done in Cupertino, California. They ensured that our exact requirements were unambiguously specified, arrived on time, were considerate about potential noise issues that our neighbor was concerned about due to an ongoing med school interview, completed the job within the expected time, hauled everything away, and left the area clean. Overall, their service was exceptional and the cost very reasonable.

I cannot say enough great things about Bay Area Demo and Hauling and the exceptional service provided by John and his team!
From my very first contact, communication was prompt, professional, and incredibly responsive. John replied almost immediately and even offered options for same-day service. Once we scheduled a time, he provided regular text updates on their arrival, which I really appreciated.
What impressed me most was that John proactively sent me all of the company's insurance information and certificates. He even took the time to explain why it's important to verify that any company you hire is properly insured and qualified, regardless of whether I chose his company. I've never had a contractor do that before! That level of transparency, professionalism, and genuine concern for protecting the customer immediately earned my trust.
John also offered to FaceTime with me if I couldn't be on-site, which I thought was an incredibly thoughtful and convenient option.
The job itself turned out to be MUCH larger than I originally anticipated. But John and his team handled everything efficiently and without hesitation. In just four hours, they removed all of my construction debris, completely demolished and hauled away a 20' x 16' deck, and removed stacks of heavy concrete blocks. In total, they hauled away an incredible 13,000 pounds of material!
What really sets Bay Area Demo and Hauling apart is that they don't just show up and get the job done. They communicate exceptionally well, operate professionally, make customer safety and peace of mind a priority, and deliver outstanding results.
If I could give Bay Area Demo and Hauling 6 stars, I absolutely would! I highly recommend John and his team to anyone needing demolition, junk removal, or hauling services. They've earned my trust and will absolutely be my first call for any future projects!

We had a great experience working with John Alviter and his team from Bay Area Demo and Hauling. When we were searching for contractors, they stood out because the business is fully licensed, has an A+ BBB rating, and has strong reviews.
Site manager Jairo and his crew systematically broke down our redwood deck along with all the framing, posts, and concrete footings. Since the deck was attached to the house, a little stucco damage was unavoidable—stucco repair usually isn't part of a demo job, but John offered to handle the patching anyway.
Jairo even diamond-cut a jagged existing concrete edge so we’d have a clean, straight border for our upcoming turf installation. We would not hesitate to hire them again as needed for our San Jose home!

Bay Area Demolition did a wonderful job with the demolition and removal of a couple of very heavy statues that were attached to pavers underneath They also removed the pavers and did a very clean job without damaging anything surrounding the area. They got the job done relatively quickly and left the area clean afterwards. They were also very responsive in their communications. I highly recommend them for any demolition projects in Sunnyvale and surrounding areas.

I contacted John with Bay Area demolition and hauling to remove a shed and some additional debris I had in my backyard and I could not be happier with the work you did. He gave me a fair price and he executed the work in a timely manner. I highly recommend Bay Area demolition and hauling.
