I found Belmount Village on Senior Home Care Givers 24/7 and I could not be happier
This is a place to get excellent care in a dignified environment. Not cheap, though.
Enjoyed our hours with familial residents at Belmont—conversations with friends, flower arranging & exercise classes and tasty food. Craig, the food & beverage manager, and Presenxe, the physical therapist, and Deborah, the volunteer flower arranging manager, were all terrific.
I visited my aunt and was thrilled to see she was happy and pleased with her surroundings. The Village was clean and attended to her needs and well being without interference of her desires of independence,
I felt welcomed and comfortable. It’s very clean and everyone was lovely. Best of all you are taking good care of my friend’s Mom.
This was the first time visiting my uncle, David Ross at Belmont Village in Westwood. I was very impressed by staff’s kindness and attentiveness to the residents and helpfulness towards me. The facility looked more like a high-end luxury hotel than a retirement community!

My mom lived at Belmont Village for over 10 years. She spent the first 8 being very active and extremely happy, surrounded by a large number of friends she had made. At about year 8, she had a stoke and it was the beginning of her decline. Belmont’s staff was extremely kind and patient as my mom’s memory suffered and then had a fall and a brain hematoma. She finally moved to a single apartment for assisted living and her life ended while there. The director and the staff were extremely kind to her and me during my frequent visits. During the declining years there were a couple times I would have preferred better communication specifically from the nursing staff. But Belmont’s director, Chris and James before him are fabulous men that did all they could to trouble shoot and make my mom’s last years joyful ones. I also need to commend the activity directors, Mark and Chris before him, and the PT department who I just loved and did great jobs. It was very much a step above all other retirement / assisted living facilities we visited. Would I recommend it if I could do it over again? YES! Note: It is pricey but a LOVELY PLACE.
