Benjamin Franklin Plumbing of North Austin

Easy service to schedule. Promt. Very courteous, and up front pricing which is reasonable compared to other companies. Would highly recommend.

Did yearly plumbing checkup and cleaned and descaled my tankless water heater. Efficient, thorough, followed safety protocols. Highly recommended.

Jared Melton from Benjamin Franklin Plumbing showed up on time. He was courteous and thorough. He drained the hot water heater and inspected all the plumbing. He provided an estimate of other non-urgent repairs. Overall it was a great experience and we definitely recommend this service.

Donovan solved a longstanding problem with our hot water. I could not be more satisfied.

Great explanations, broke down the fee for the visit, and even explained what to do if this happens again. Very professional. They will be coming back out next week for maintenance, and to look at 3 other honey dos

For 12 years now I have been using Benjamin Franklin plumbing and I see the same technicians like Tim, Dave & Wayne come and give me great service for a great price. Today, Tim came and did a great job flushing my water heaters and checking my whole house.

Very professional. Mr. Peterson helped me and not only fixed the issue but explained plainly what was wrong. I’ll be recommending them again or using them myself if I need plumbing services.

Tim was on time, fixed the problem in a few hours even though he had to go ~20 miles to pick up a part. very professional. work was clean and thorough. would definitely use again.

Annual flushing of water heater previously installed by Ben Franklin Plumbing was performed quickly. We requested estimates for several future repairs and asked lots of questions. Mani provided all and answered all. Pleasant and courteous person!

I highly recommend this company! I called and had someone come out in a half hour. Tim has been our plumber on two jobs and he was patient, helpful, and a great listener. He provided us with options based on our needs and provided excellent service and final products. We will be using Tim again for our new kitchen… Read full review

This was my second time using Benjamin Franklin Plumbing and I would highly recommend them. This time, we had an old water heater in the attic that was leaking. They came out late on Friday afternoon, diagnosed the problem and gave me a quote to replace it. They were back Monday morning to do the work. The… Read full review

Benjamin Franklin was not our first choice, but we had to find a plumber who was Navien certified for our tankless water heater. When we lost hot water, we had called Navien tech support who were kind enough to tell us what part was needed, so we provided this information to Benjamin Franklin. They ordered the part… Read full review

Wayne was professional and explained what and why he replaced the parts on my hot water heater clearly. Thanks for the education and fixing what would be a very expensive replacement.

TL;DR Summary: Extremely responsive after hours/weekend service. Tim was amazing. Water heater started leaking massively on a Sunday. Was able to shut off the water myself, and immediately started looking for a plumber that was open. I admittedly called Benjamin Franklin last out of the ~10 plumbers claiming to be… Read full review

Superb all around service! Website worked to get contact with scheduling. Got scheduled within one day (less than a day, actually). Technician was friendly, knowledgeable, efficient, helpful and went above and beyond fixing our issue and even did some extra stuff because he was just plain nice! I highly recommend Benjamin Franklin Plumbing!

Jonathan was extremely friendly and provided plenty of information and suggestions on other plumbing related questions.

Second update: John came out and installed a new tankless water heater. The “old” one had a leak from the winter storm and was not reasonably repairable. Same great service, on time, excellent work, good advice on what our options were (and recommendation) and professional. Update: Tim from Ben Franklin returned… Read full review

Great experience! Replaced a part on our water heater and got it back up and heating.

I’ve used them multiple times and are outstanding every time. They’re always on time and relatively quick considering the task. If they make a mistake, there is no hesitation to make it right.

I called Benjamin Franklin Plumbing and they were able to get someone to me quickly to help install an external water heater. I appreciated how organized and professional the whole process was with Benjamin Franklin. The person that they sent, Andy Garcia, did a great job!
