We sent our 10mo the old puppy to Chris after struggling to get her to settle and feel like we were speaking the same language. After talking about what we were looking for, Chris took her for a 3 week board and train. When we picked her up it was like we had a different dog. She was listening, more comfortable and…
Cannot recommend Chris and Best by Farr Dog Training enough. We took our two German Shepherd puppies to Chris for puppy training and we are extremely pleased with the outcome. Chris was extremely patient with us and our questions which was very important because it was also a huge learning process for us and not…
Chris and his wife were amazing with not only teaching me but also with caring for and training my dog Rudy. This was the first time I had ever paid for dog training in my life and it was certainly well worth the money. 10/10. Highly recommend! Very impressed with the end results! It's like I have a completely new dog!
Chris is great to work with! He makes training very easy and consumable for those of us that are not expert dog trainers. Our dog went to the week long puppy training camp and has made so much progress. We look forward to sending him to Chris’ adult training camp next!
We can't recommend Chris enough for the board and train program we did with our dog, Stella. Stella was 1.5 years old when we sent her for the 3-week board and train, and she needed it. She really only knew "sit" and "lay," and walking her was a struggle. By the end of the 3 weeks, she was almost a completely…
We are very happy with the results Chris managed to achieve with our Sheepadoodle Milo. After one week of training Milo understands sit, stay, come, place and heel walking. Milo has also improved in his crate training. We are very pleased with the success and intend to use Chris in the future.
We had an excellent experience with Best By Farr Dog Training. He was communicative throughout the entire process, always quick to answer questions and keep us updated on our dog’s progress. What really stood out was his patience—not only with our dog, but with us as owners as well. He took the time to explain the…
Trained our husky. Highly recommend.
I 100% recommend Best By Farr! My dog Birdie, Wirehaired Pointing Griffon, was trained by Chris for 3 weeks with his board and train program. She learned so much in the 3 weeks and was able to heel, come, sit, down and place with ease. I loved the 3 follow up lessons that Birdie and I did with Chris after her…
Our rescue Sully is a 4 year old Shihtzu/Bichon mix. He spent most of his life in a crate so the outside is a scary place for him. He was highly reactive to people and other dogs. Walking him on a leash was impossible. We could not take him on walks with our other dog. We chose the 3 week board and train with Chris.…
After dropping my puppy off for basic training I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I received videos with updates showing my puppies progress as she learned. When it was time to pickup up our puppy is when the real surprise happened, we actually got trained too! We now understand what commands to give and more…
An outstanding experience for both puppy and owner with remarkable results! I paid to have my puppy previously trained, but I was having difficulty keeping up and regretted the expense. After 3 weeks of Leo's training with Chris and 3 follow-on sessions for both of us, Leo and I are happy and have bonded even…
Did the board and train and results were outstanding. No more leash reactivity and compliant with all basic commands. Recall is reliable and pup enjoys off leash freedom now. Chris’s methods are easy to implement and transfer to the home. Highly recommend !
Chris absolutely overhauled our Mars in the 3 week boarding/training. We got what we really needed and more so. Mars went from almost completely unmanageable on walks in his new downtown environment (we had to move him from a rural setting) to where we can confidently, safely, and easily handle him. Thank you, Chris!
Chris Farr was gentle but firm and directive with my lunging, barking, 84# rescue German Shepherd mix. After only 3 wks, she was a different dog, able to walk around people and dogs, and even little dogs who barked at her. I required a lot of training, too. It was a great experience.
We did the Puppy Preschool board-and-train program over the Thanksgiving holiday, and the overall experience was amazing! Chris’s communication from the very beginning was excellent, which made the setup process easy. He even gave us some homework to work on before training began. Drop-off was simple, and throughout…
We are thrilled with the results from Best By Farr Dog Training for our 18-month-old Bichon, Lucy. Before training, walks were frustrating due to her constant pulling, and she would bark and jump on guests. Choosing the 3-week Board and Train program was the best decision for us. This model proved to be an excellent…
We did the puppy boot camp program for our 17 week old puppy. The progress that Chris and team made in one week was incredible. The 2 sessions after where Chris explained what they trained on, why they did what they did, and how we should continue were in depth and very comprehensive. We would highly recommend this team for training as they were great.
We did a ton of research before deciding where to take our Cane Corso for boarding training, and we couldn’t be happier that we chose Best by Farr. Our dog was extremely nervous around strangers and difficult to control, but after the 5-week board and train program, the transformation has been incredible. He no…
Amazingly talented trainer who also genuinely loves dogs! Worth every penny.
