The instructor said that this was time for yourself and I really got that. The music, lighting, mood, and temp all led to a lot of self reflection. This was even without knowing much of anything about yoga. It was fairly easy to follow along as a quick glance around could set you straight. I highly recommend this as an escape for 60 minutes.

Was great until I was assaulted by a former staff member in the studio while staff and management did nothing. Loved the instructors but can't recommend based on the incident and lack of response/concern by management and ownership.
I took a vinyasa flow on Friday at 9:00 and it was by far THE worst class I have EVER taken. For starters, the room was dark( I don't get this with Black Swan studios everywhere...the need for dimly lit rooms), her music sucked and was extremely loud to where I could barely hear her cues. Another thing that all BSYs feel the need to do-blast the music and play shitty rap. I saved the worst for last....the instructor taught her flow at record speed that felt unsafe and negated the entire purpose of aligning your body in a pose and feel it in its entirety. I would be finishing the first pose and she would be moving into the third or fourth pose??? I guess these instructors nowadays think teaching a flow at a fast pace is where it's at to get the heart rate up. It was awful. I've been instructing yoga for 17 years, so I know a thing or two about teaching a strong, creative, challenging flow, and it is NOT by teaching fast so stop it.

To be clear, the incident that took place was between you and another student. He was not a former staff member. Our Manager and team, who were there at the time, handled the disagreement with care and safety for the others around you. When it escalated, our manager spoke with you privately outside, at length listening and validating any concerns. We were proud of our team and how it was handled because our priority was to mitigate the altercation for everyones safety. We do not tolerate behavior like that in our spaces.
