It is a very nicely restored mansion. The docent was extremely energetic and knowledgeable about the history of the property. Surprisingly she was young but she certainly made up for that with her knowledge. I would recommend this tour to anyone interested in N.C. history.

She was very seasoned on the history of the house and was able to answer any questions we had. She was able to provide ghost stories about the different parts of the house that added to the atmosphere of the tour. The place is very beautiful and so full of rich history. We even experienced a "paranormal experience" which was very fun. We will definitely be back in the future.
