Brakes Plus

I had a great experience with Alonso. He accommodated me with a same-day appointment for my brakes and alignment, took the time to explain what services I'd need next, and broke down the pricing clearly. In today's economy, getting honest service and being able to use coupons means a lot. Thank you, Alonso!

First time here. Alonso was courteous and friendly. Fast service, good prices.

I came here because of the reviews, I don’t know why I didn’t get the same experience. I called and spoke with Alonso on 10/19/26 To get a quote for my front brake pads and rotors. He said he couldn’t give me one and that I should bring the car in instead. I told him that I got a quote from another shop and wanted… Read full review

Traveling through California winter rain storm and brakes started making a grinding noise. We stopped first place we could (Brakes Plus, AZ) and the service time and price were reasonable. Brakes replaced and even had an oil change while making the unplanned pit stop. Feeling safe and ready for a continued road trip… Read full review

The guys at the Avondale location were top-tier! They’re knowledgeable, friendly, efficient, and communicative. The first time I came in, they weren’t able to accommodate me that day, which was totally fine, but they still made the experience great. The team was cracking jokes, and one of them even went to grab… Read full review

Tanner was absolutely amazing. He was the biggest help ever with saving money and fast service!!

Scott and Tanner are THE BEST! I took my Jeep in for a normal oil change and for them to take a peek at the breaks. Turns out I needed back breaks desperately so they worked hard to get the right coupons and bring my bill down to a reasonable amount. Gotta love these guys for going waaaay beyond call of duty! Al has kept my 1997 jeep running since we got here in 2002.!!!! When the dealer told my wife her car needed new brakes and tires . .Brakes Plus looked her car over. Brakes and tires were FINE! That's another dealer that won't ever see us .

I highly recommend coming to this location. I didn't have an appointment but Ian our service advisor made sure my car was taken in right away. The whole staff was awesome and even offered my daughter crayons and paper to color. Thank you everyone!

Several years ago, I needed to find a shop for my son's beloved Lexus ES330 to be repaired. My son is autistic, has severe anxiety, and babies his car, so it was a very big deal for him to take it to the shop. We took it to Brakes Plus and they were so very respectful of his anxiety about it getting scratched. Since… Read full review

After trying several automotive repair companies including some big names in town, Howard and his crew at this Brakes Plus in Avondale far exceeded anyone I’ve used in the past. I had another mechanic diagnose my AC on my work van. He recommended a recharge and added Freon…it never fixed the problem. Another company… Read full review

Bait and switch quoted one price went for the work price tripled. They said the price quoted was for brakes that don't last very long but if you upgrade you get better and you need a brake line flush also. They inspected the vehicle 3 days prior and mentioned none of this until I returned for the service. They said… Read full review

said over and over don't want a brake flush, just need the pads replaced. Still charged my godmother 70 dollars for a flush we did not want.

Howard helped me out with as super honest and told me the basics of what was causing my brakes to squeal. Told me no safety issues and how to care for it with out spending a dime. To me that’s a great business willing to be honest knowing they may not get the money for the job. We need more business like this.… Read full review

They were very professional and fantastic customer service. I took my car in due to Squealing and vibration of my steering wheel. They went above and beyond. Great & fast service if you have your own parts they are willing to install them for you

Brakes plus has always been helpful and service is always great. Jason B. was very helpful today with my brakes and advised future repairs that would benefit my car.

Really good service! I’m glad Jason was there to help me assess the situation. Very helpful and kind.

Fantastic service. It was quick and professional with people trying to help instead of trying to sell me stuff. I got my front and rear brakes, oil change (engine and brake fluid) and air filter in about two hours at a fair price. I'll definitely come back!

Brakes plus here in Avondale is always giving the best service and competitive rates and helping in any way possible, come down and see Allen and he will give you the best rate and the best professional assistance and knowledge, I bring all my vehicles here

This is one of the best car repair places I have ever used. As a women mechanics always seem to take advantage of you. But not here they do good quality work and I would recommend them to anyone. Everyone is nice there but Pierre is my favorite very friendly and helpful.
