Worker with name ”Ken” with the lip piercing and tattooed arms was EXTREMELY rude. Love this place so much and have been coming for their quiche for years and have never had a problem with their staff; however this particular saturday 9/5, I encountered a worker (ken) and she was extremely rude. I was friendly when ordering, but she was so passive aggressive. We opened with “Hi how are you” but since I was late to saying that back she said “yeah some people like YOU just don’t say it and I need to prompt them to” which caught me extremely off guard. Furthermore, the interaction ended with her giving me back my change and I was putting the bills in first, however after about 3 seconds she said “take your time, I don’t have all day” very sarcastically. I thought maybe she was just having a bad day since it was busy saturday morning but my friend ordered behind me, and I stood next to her with the same cashier and miraculously that worker was extremely sweet to my friend. I was seriously appalled and taken aback by the difference in attitude.
I never make reviews like this but it’s disappointing to see because I love their pastries but this worker seriously had the most bitter attitude. Made feel super icky and didn’t want to make a scene telling staff about her behavior.
Again, this review is not to bash on the bakery as a whole (extremely amazing place) but Ken was just so rude.
