Budd & Company Automotive - Rainier

they were fast and professional with their service and inspections, provided a detailed estimate of work, and kept me informed of the repairs process / were accommodating to my insurance estimator

The floor on the passenger side of my 2021 Hyundai Kona would end up wet from rainwater after a storm. I called and described the problem to Anthony and he told me I could bring it in that day. He and another gentleman did a test, determined what needed to be done and advised me to use my warranty. They even showed… Read full review

Have been coming here for a few years now and I always direct folks in need of a good auto shop to Budd & Company, even those on the east side of the lake. Tara was incredibly kind and I'm always appreciative of the transparency the shop offers through their service and the Lyft back to the shop once service was done!

VERY fast and friendly service! free coffee and treats! lots of parking space. very informative as well and they're great with prioritizing auto needs and assisting with payment. i didnt need to worry about a thing. i will definitely be going back😎

UPDATE: I’m updating this review without the original screenshots because some included the business phone number and a technician’s full name. Budd's is my local, really effective, auto repair shop. I feel confident about the diagnostics, quality and pricing.

Good price for oil change, very helpful inspection included. Sends written up findings with photos as needed. Gives clear options to approve or decline additional work without pressuring you. I will return for future car maintenance.

Excellent service after accepting my truck without an appointment because of braking concerns, like the rear brakes weren’t working! Very happy with the repair and cost, especially compared to dealer maintenance. They are now my go to shop for the 2 vehicles in the family.

Brought my car in for an oil change, brake system flush, and a general inspection, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. The service was fast, the staff was knowledgeable, and the pricing was fair without any surprise charges. What really stood out was that they went beyond just the car work. When I… Read full review

The best 2 experiences I've had at an auto shop, probably... ever? Aaron, Brian and Chelle are so friendly and personable, and the mechanics are incredibly efficient. Although I hope I don't have to come back anytime soon😅, when there is an issue I'll def be coming here again. Thank you

There really is no such thing as "inexpensive" quality automobile repair in Seattle in the post-COVID era, but that said, the team at Budd & Company is unmatched in terms of knowledge/expertise *and* friendliness. (And hey, I first moved here in 1980!!)

I found these technicians very polite (+1 star) as they picked the most costly repair they could feasibly suggest for my car. They did not ask why I brought my car in or what I needed them to look for, simply did "a full diagnostic" and told me my transmission was whirring (which is appropriate for a CVT that is… Read full review

I’m very satisfied and impressed with the service done with my car. The staff esp Alejandro was very helpful honest and very knowledgeable. Thank you !

I have been taking my vehicles in for service since 1997. Always friendly and fast service and at a reasonable price! I have never felt "taken" by them... always felt cared for by Budd and Company. They ROCK!!

They were patient with my lack of knowledge and were willing to work within my budget. They were communicative throughout the entire process and sufficiently answered any questions I had. Repairs were done in a timely manner and I felt I was valued as a customer. Would definitely go to them again in the future and recommend their services.

Excellent customer service!

Easy to make an appt. Car returned quickly. Keeps my 2013 Scion xD running very well. Knowledgeable and friendly. Won't go anywhere else. Been going there for over 20 years- 5 cars in!

Went in with my Tacoma for a 100,000 miles check up, and I am so glad I did. They started with an oil change to also assess the state of the vehicle. Within a couple of hours, I had a full inspection and recommendation report with pictures, explanations, and coded urgency for each repair. Very clear and easy to… Read full review

Will be my first choice in the future! My car completely lost power at a red light, had to get an emergency tow to the nearest mechanic. The guys at Budds were a huge help, with really fast inspection and working with me as I worked out payment. Got an alternator/belt tensioner/serpentine replacement which on my car… Read full review

Honest and reliable.

Stopped in to the new location on mlk today. Front desk man was polite and knowledgeable. The mechanic looked my car over and gave me a 👍🏿for some winter travel. Also, installed my new wiper blades. I’ll be back when needed.

Literally the worst experience I have ever had at an auto shop. I made an appointment for the morning for an oil change and inspection. I dropped off my car on time and they said they would get to it later (even though I had an appointment). I asked what time I should get my car, emphasizing I needed it back later… Read full review

I love Budd's! In addition to excellent service, the staff provide friendly, truly respectful, transparent information about what is needed, and can help prioritize repairs for folks like me who need to triage expensive repairs. I've been trusting Budd's with my cars over 40 years; so glad they are still here for us.

Budds does great work and the owner and employees are very friendly! My parents bring their car here so I felt confident bringing mine too.

Budd & Co. are thorough when they do mechanical work. Each time I’ve had a concern, they find the underlying issue and the car drives better than before. Friendly team and great service!

Very quick, & transparent l walked in, & got service at a decent time

Great service: all the service reps were very thorough, helpful and great communicators, especially Anthony

I was so happy to discover Budd’s! The whole experience was very helpful. Bryan, up front, was an excellent communicator and I appreciated the honest feedback concerning the issue my car was facing. Service was done in a timely manner, and we are very satisfied. I would definitely come back again and recommend… Read full review

I had a tire blowout and brought my car in for new tires and to check for damage. Anthony was very helpful explaining things since I'm not a car person at all. I never felt pressured or up-sold. They are super honest about needed versus recommended repairs. They even gave it a quick wash and got rid of some bird poop on the hood! I'm definitely going back!

I have owned my 72 cheverolet Truck for 12 years. During that time, I have always have had issues with my front end steering. I have taken it in for alignment 4 times to different shops and been given clean bills of health. And after paying for new sterring box, new shocks and a multitude of other assorted parts… Read full review

Highly recommend! Happy friend encouraged me to go year ago. Honest, great prices and guarantee work.

I trust them completely for all my car maintenance. I cheated on them once with Jiffy Lube in ‘19 and still regret it. Thankfully Budd & Co took me back.

Budd & Company Automotive went above and beyond in its service to my vehicle. In fact, they didn't go an extra mile in their service of my vehicle, but 1,000 miles! The people at Budd & Company Automotive are HONEST, TRUSTWORTHY, RELIABLE, REASONABLE, and AFFORDABLE in the service they provide their customers.… Read full review

Great service, I feel I can trust their work and their pricing. They have done various different work on my Chevy truck over many years. I can recommend these guys

Honest guys, great shop.

Budd’s has been my shop for years. Reliable pros, fair and honest. Easy to work with, great communication. They do a huge volume of business, but it’s always easy to schedule because they’re really efficient.

This place is great! I trust them and they have done right for me for over 10 years

After having another local shop tell me I needed to spend over $3700 on preventive maintenance on my 2016 Subaru Outback, Budd's mechanic explained to me why what they were suggesting wasn't necessary. They charged me $138 for the maintenance I actually needed, let me know I will need new brakes within the next… Read full review

I keep using Budd & Co because they are a no nonsense shop. Mike is friendly and courteous and gives you the facts.

Budd and Co. is 5 stars******+++ plus. They are reliable, fair and trustworthy. Not to mention swift. A true asset to Seattle. Do yourself a favor and take your car to them. Thank you very much Budd and Co.

Very good place to go to have your car checked out to see it’s condition so you can make an. Informed decision.

Always straightforward and reasonable! My go to for general maintenance

Budd & Co is my go-to for service in the south end where I live. I appreciate their friendly, effective, and professional service for my Jeep.

Mike and his team gave me the most peace of mind when checking my car before a long car ride. Of all the mechanics I’ve worked with in the 20 years I’ve been behind the wheel, Mike was the most respectful, helpful, honest, and patient of all my car experiences. Was a pleasure to do business here and though I live 4… Read full review

These guys are the best, hands down. They are extremely knowledgeable, and have the highest standards of quality and integrity. The most important thing is to be able to TRUST your mechanic and Mike and the guys earn that trust every day. If there’s an issue they fix it promptly and professionally. If I could give… Read full review
