If you have any older audio equipment, don't look any further. I had to take my old Akai GX 635d reel to reel player there for repairs, and they did an amazing job getting it back up. These guys will continue to get my business, so be on the lookout.
Found my grandparent’s old portable phonograph after being forgotten in storage for over two decades. The gentleman at the shop were able to bring it back to life! I couldn’t be happier and my mother gets to relive old memories of her parents. I couldn’t be happier, thank you for bringing g back some special moments for our family.
I was devastated when my vintage Technics stopped in the middle of the Stooges' Search and Destroy, that was not a good day... I am so glad I found these guys. They went above and beyond to put it back circa 1971. Just got it back 2 hours ago. What a blast now! This is a great day!! Thanks Budget Electronics Repair guys!

When the tray door wouldn't open I took it in to see if it was worth fixing. They repaired the tray door, cleaned the innards, & now the remote works perfectly. They have also…

I brought in my Audio Technica AT-LP120-USB turntable for a diagnosis on a dropped audio channel. While the technician immediately adopted a know-it-all attitude, claiming decades of experience since the 1970s including on this exact model, his actual technical familiarity with the unit was incredibly lacking. He was completely unaware of what the Phono/Line switch on the back of the turntable actually does, mistakenly insisting it was used to switch over to the USB interface. When I corrected him and explained that it toggles the internal preamp to allow connection to non-phono receiver inputs, he dismissed it with a careless "maybe I'm wrong." Furthermore, when I asked about a standard modification -- installing clean, female RCA chassis jacks to make future cable swaps easy if a wire goes bad again -- he claimed he could not drill into the plastic. Anyone with experience working on modern electronics enclosures knows this is entirely possible with the right tools. Between the arrogant and argumentative attitude, the defensive pushback, and the clear lack of basic product knowledge on a highly mainstream turntable, I decided to take my business elsewhere. If you need a thorough diagnosis or custom component-level modifications from a technician who respects their customers and stays up to date on audio gear, look elsewhere in Albuquerque.
Turntable arrived with a few things missing, Platter, Tone Arm Weight, Head Shell with Needle. We are Not able to perform the diagnostics without these missing parts. Plus the audio plug was cut off. After asking "Pin Point Questions" on why?? Plus I will not drill into a piece of equipment , This is not a standard modification to the turntable. I told customer just to take the unit back home.

They have also repaired our Panasonic VCR/DVD combo unit, JVC turntable, JVC amplifier, JVC tuner, and a friend's classic Mustang car radio that we brought here from Phoenix & shipped back. Excellent work. Great guys to deal with.
