From our initial inquiry to our wedding day, the entire team was incredibly attentive and genuinely invested in capturing the unique feel and atmosphere of our wedding. During our initial consultation, Cass asked thoughtful, insightful questions that helped us think about details and moments we hadn’t even considered. Her attention to detail, care, and passion for what she does truly stood out and made us feel confident that we were in great hands. On our wedding day, Marcy made us feel completely comfortable in front of the camera and did a fantastic job incorporating our dog into the photos. With our ceremony taking place on a mountaintop, she did an incredible job capturing the beautiful scenery while also documenting the little candid moments with our family and friends that made the day so special. Our wedding was just a couple of weeks ago, so we’ve only received our sneak peek so far, but the photos are already phenomenal! We cannot say enough wonderful things about C. Mae! Their team went above and beyond to make our wedding day feel personal and special, and the care they put into our first look is something we’ll never forget. Ian and I had our first date at a sushi restaurant, so Cass surprised us with sushi to share during our first look—a sweet nod to where our relationship began. They also arranged a beautiful custom bottle of Macallan. Ian loves whiskey, and Macallan was my grandmother’s favorite, so sharing a glass together made the moment even more meaningful. They even helped bring a little dream of ours to life: having our first look at Yerkes Observatory. We had fallen in love with it during a Valentine’s Day visit to Lake Geneva but had no idea how we could incorporate it into our wedding. When C. Mae was able to work with Yerkes to reserve the location for an hour for pictures -- we were thrilled! Their team navigated the logistics (which were NOT inconsiderable on the day and required two cars in the transit -- THANK YOU!) and coordinated with everyone involved to make it happen. These thoughtful touches turned our first look into one of the most intimate, joyful parts of our day. C. Mae made us feel truly seen and celebrated as a couple. They took care of every little detail! Even with the rain Cass made sure we did every picture requested and more! She was so efficient, and made sure I felt like a bride the entire day, and to be in the moment. Even when things didn’t go to plan she was patient and came up with so many back up plans. Every moment felt captured exactly how it was supposed to be and never forced. I will forever be grateful for her coming out and saving my wedding day. My original photographer cancelled two days earlier and some how by the grace of God Cass was available! So incredibly grateful for her and the team!

We recently had C.Mae photography do our team photos and professional headshots. Cass and the team did such an incredible job planning for the session. Her ideas and advise leading up to the session were so helpful. When the day came, they were amazing to work with. They brought all the creativity, professionalism and fun so our group could have some incredibly authentic shots. They did such a great job creating an environment that was conducive for capturing moments. It felt like they were a part of the team. Cas was an absolute highlight of our daughter’s wedding. She stepped in last minute and turned what could have been stressful into something truly special. She connected instantly with the couple—warm, attentive, and incredibly intuitive. She picked up on meaningful details (their first date over sushi, his love of whiskey) and wove them in beautifully. She even arranged a private first look at Yerkes and coordinated some very cool-shots—completely above and beyond. Her calm, friendly presence made everything feel effortless—and the photos are off the charts. If you have the chance to work with her, you are very lucky indeed.

I was very nervous coming in but quickly felt comfortable due to the conversations being had, the detailed questions about what I liked or didn't like, and just the atmosphere being open minded, women supporting women, and feeling empowered. I felt myself starting to just open up to things I never thought I would consider photographing and it quickly became not just a photoshoot but an amazing experIence. Cass was excellent and I felt we vibed pretty well together. Her words of encouragement and hype kept me wanting to do more and be more bold. I couldn't have asked for a better person to walk me through this! Picking out the photos together afterwards was such a treat and I couldn't believe how amazing I looked. As someone that suffers with body image issues, like many women, I felt myself becoming more confident and I hope to be kinder to myself in the future. I spent the rest of the day talking to my friends about this experience and I look forward to seeing the final product!
