Have been using Cal and Shans for 6 years now on countless landscaping improvement projects and hardscape repairs, etc. Always a positive experience. Todd, Ross, and Brian are so easy to work with, fair, and provide quality no-nonsense work. Highly recommended.
Some companies "install" paver patios, and then there is Cal and Shan's. I would like everyone to research the differences in the processes for patio installs. You will get lowball bids that use basic materials and don't dig the appropriate trench with a rock mixture base. The process C&S goes through builds out a…
Absolutely the best way to improve your yard. High quality results in a short time. They specialize in their amazing details. If you have a problem, they go all out to solve and correct it. They will leave your yard looking much better than when they arrived. Two neighbors liked their work enough to contact them to do a project in their yards too.
Great landscape company!! Todd & Ross are a pleasure to deal with. They are professional, timely, listen to what your needs are, do great work, and back up their product or service. Honesty is a big factor for me and I trust them to do all my landscaping needs. I have a new house and they put all new landscaping…
Hands down the best landscaping/ hardscape contractors in northern Illinois. Our experience was nothing short of awesome from start to finish. We were having our annual summer party and we were promised it would be finished before our party and it was. The quality and professionalism of the team at Cal and Shan's…
Our homes was hidden in massive overgrown and half dead trees and bushes Todd and Ross freed our claustrophobia. They are professional and they know their stuff, the job was performed exactly how it was explained in the beginning and I couldn't be happier.
Can’t say enough good things about this company! We just had them complete a second patio project and they exceeded expectations again. Todd and Ross are terrific, the quality of their work is exceptional and they over deliver every time!
Todd and his crew were awesome! Reached out to them for a quote the beginning of November, which was very reasonable. Wasn't sure they would be able to complete the job before the weather got crazy but they did it. We had a LOT of landscaping removal and grading of our hill. 4 days and it was DONE! They even…
Cal and Shans redid a very large patio in our backyard along with replacement of our deck and new tree!! Our backyard space looks AMAZING now and we couldn’t be happier!! The crew was always great and easy to talk to, all they wanted was for us to love our space (and we do!). They cleaned up the area at the end of…
Cal & Shans are a quality landscaping company who amazed my family at their ability to work with us to get us what we wanted even when we werent sure ourselves! Our contact Todd has over 20 years experience and it shows in his ability to hear what we are saying, look at the property and find a solution to meet our…
Todd, Ross, and the entire team at Cal and Shan’s were an absolute pleasure to work with. Todd was able to give us the vison we had for our backyard patio and landscaping. Once we decided to go forward with the project, all communication were upfront, and timelines were established and met. Another thing worth…
