Closets by Design - North New Jersey

I have to say! I am very impressed with the work by CBD. The contractor, yes. singular, completed my entire closet in 3 hours. It is so beautiful! It’s my space I go to glam, watch TV, or just chill. It is definitely one of the best purchases I’ve made in my home. I’ll definitely be back for upgrades to my other closets and laundry room.

We have ordered our closets for second time from closets by design. Their designers are thorough professionals and the quality is awesome!! We are very happy with our purchase and complete experience

Very professional and punctual. Good quality of cabinets.

I shopped around and it took several months for me to bite the bullet. I had three quotes from different designers. Amanda from CBD provided me the most creative solution. The price was affordable for me and was within the price range of the other quotes but there were more creative options provided. The designing… Read full review

They were wonderful to work with from the very beginning to the end. We met with the designer ( Erin) and she had wonderful suggestions of what would work for all of our closets. The people that came to install were on time and very professional. They wanted to make sure that everything was perfect when they were finished. I highly recommend them!!

We had an excellent experience. Amanda was professional, knowledgeable thoughtful in the design process. She followed the project from design phase to installation. The company did a great job including the two on site installers, Kyle and Mark.

This place is the worst. We worked with Nancy who was great at selling the design and then gave us an install date 2.5 months later. Of course they take 50% deposit to keep your place in line for install. They came to install on Jan 9th 2023 and didn't have all of the materials. They rescheduled a few times and came… Read full review

they were very efficient, timely and creative.Nadine their designer was excellent

Great designer, but terrible install and customer service. Numerous times they would confirm someone would arrive between 9-10 am, and the installer would not show up until 12 noon and leave by 3-4 pm. Half days at work must be nice! Job was supposed to take 4 days to install custom closets in an entire home.… Read full review

I worked with Nancy and she was absolutely amazing! She has a great sense of design and makes the customer and their needs and desires a priority. Closets By Design did a whole room walk in closet, another bedroom walk-in closet, a foyer closet and a garage. The installers were all professional, courteous, and… Read full review

Very disappointed! Installers came, performed half the install, realized there was an error in their measurements and just left. Zero notice. We did not hear from the installers. We did not hear from CBD. Phone calls go to answering service and are never returned. 3+ months later and this is still going on with our closet still half assembled…

Closets by Design installed 6 closets in our home. Julie was amazing to deal with.... from her design work to her understanding of our needs. Just terrific! Oscar was our outstanding installer. All in all, we will be using Closets by Design again!

This is our second experience with Closets By Design and they performed both design and installation at the highest level. There were no glitches; a hassle free experience. Erin, our designer was professional, personable and very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend this company for all of your cabinet needs.

Woah! That is all I can say.. I have had the best experience with this company. Courteous, professional and a smooth experience. Will definitely be using for future projects. If you're looking for custom closets, look no further.. Thank you again Closets by Design!

Had a terrible experience with this company. They charged me $7500 for installing cabinets snd paneling in my garage. Not only was the service extremely delayed but they did not finish the paneling on my garage wall. Leaving half of one wall completely bare. When confronted about it, they pointed to fine print in… Read full review

Beth, the sales person/designer, was awesome but after that we'd never hear from the company. They had to come four times to install and fix mistakes. One time two guys showed up and had no idea why and didn't have the right parts or tools. A really disappointing experience considering the cost. We were not happy… Read full review

I have used them in the past two months to design an install numerous closet configuration designs for my house (linen, pantry, garage, ,master bedroom closet, hobby room , storage closets, etc. ). Nico was the sales representative for closet by design. He was amazing! However, after this visit and signing the contract, I had to deal with a different person for the installation. The wood cracked and a few other parts were damaged during installation. I reached out to closet by design right away and sent… Read full review

Recently had a custom closet installed and some storage in my garage. Jill was terrific, helped to layout the design, showed me some options I had not considered for the garage. I had to move the install date and they were able to accommodate me, thanks. Overall very satisfied, my aunt has already called for her design appt. Highly recommend.

Our designer, Jill, was a pleasure to work with -- knowledgeable, with a good color sense, full of helpful suggestions, and on top of our job (full home office. plus laundry room with cabinets) from beginning to end. Similarly, installation team headed by Rudy did great work and left everything looking spotless.

I would give them 0 stars if possible. They forgot to bring some materials during the install and rescheduled to complete the job. They have been no shows for the last two times. My email to their office was ignored. The phone calls are answered by rude professionals who coldly tell me they have no idea what… Read full review
