Colby's Dogcare and Spa

Colby’s is great, our pup has stayed the night and goes regularly for grooming. We regularly also bring her in for daycare and she always has so much fun!

My one year old Shih Tzu, Rubble, loves his grooming sessions at Colby’s! The staff are professional, caring and experienced. I take Rubble to Colby’s for routine grooming, daycare and he’s even stayed oversight at the facility last Spring without incident. I trust the staff at Colby’s with my fur baby one hundred… Read full review

The only place I trust to take care of my dogs. 10/10 would recommend!

Colby’s is the best! My dog Baker is always so excited to see all of his friends at Colby‘s. Every employee really cares about the dogs and they offer great services in the Noma neighborhood!

We have tried a number of groomers for our 100 pound doodle in the DMV. We found Colby's after a few negative experiences at another local groomer and have taken our dog here for his last 3-4 grooms. The staff is very polite and welcoming and they give realistic estimates about how long it will take for grooms… Read full review

Best customer experience I’ve ever had in a business. My groomer Autumn is amazing! She does a real great work on my pups

Kori is Team Colby! My 8 year old pup, Kori has attended Colby's for daycare, boarding and training since she was 5. She runs in the building because she loves the care she receives there and also runs to greet me whenever I pick her up to thank me for taking her there. Lol. The staff is kind and definitely… Read full review

I’ve been impressed by Colby’s since my first phone call to schedule grooming - the attention and care they have towards pets is noticeable immediately as they asked me detailed questions about my pup, Winnie, and her temperament. I have now gone to Colby’s for two grooming sessions for Winnie with Autumn as her… Read full review

Great place for grooming. Took care of both my sweet puppies! Keagan is fantastic, I would highly recommend

My current puppy and previous dog have both adored Colby’s! Neither could walk past without trying to steer me there. :) Staff are unfailingly friendly and practical, and all clearly love pooches.

Colby’s is the safest place for your dog in Noma. My yorkie has been going there for a year now and it’s far better than other places in Noma we have tried. My dog is usually very nervous around people, but loves the Colby’s staff. They are also very mindful of each pet’s unique personality and well being. The pets… Read full review

Always a great grooming experience at Colby’s 🥰 thanks to our groomer, Almaris!

I LOVE my doodle’s summer cut! He looks great. Naked, but great. We’ll definitely be back for another grooming session here. His tail looks AMAZING: feathered to perfection. Other grooming places we’ve been to have left him choppy and uneven, but it looks like the groomers at Colby’s took time to carefully groom my… Read full review

I recently scheduled my first grooming at Colby’s for my 6 year old bichon mix. Autum did a wonderful job and pup seemed to have a good experience. I also signed up for the daycare a while back and would consider signing up again. Will be returning

My experience was phenomenal and Ellie was super professional as well. She took her time with me and made me fell comfortable for my first time. Thanks again

I had an excellent experience and rate the overall service 5 stars. The staff was friendly and welcoming. Amaris the groomer, listened carefully and compassionately to my special requests; Hercules' sensitivity to nail trims due to a bad experience, as well as the specific Lion cut I wanted. Amaris absolutely… Read full review

They took care of my puppy when I was in a bind. They had empathy and moved quickly to accommodate him. They kept me updated and completely informed about his comfort and health and happiness. When I picked him up he looked so happy and healthy and had in a cute bandanna. The staff is amazing. Katarina, Mekhi,… Read full review

Our pup, Archer, got a full groom from Autumn and came out looking great! Andrew at the desk was also very nice and treated our pup great

Colby’s Dog Care and Spa is hands down the best dog care in the DC area. Every single time I bring my dog in, she’s treated with so much care and attention, and it’s clear how much the staff genuinely love what they do. I always feel totally confident leaving her there. Today was a great example of why I love this… Read full review

My husky, Miranda, absolutely loves the entire Colby’s Crew. Miranda gives a special shoutout to the whole crew including Kat, Andrew, Kai, and her groomer, Maurice, among others.

Great as always! My pup is very anxious and the team (Jamaal, Kai, Stephen, and Andrew) made sure to make it a great experience! Will def continue to use Colby’s!

I read all of the reviews on Google and Yelp and anywhere I could find them, and I chose to take my newly adopted rescue for a drop-in at Colby’s. The facility is immaculate, and all of the staff are not only certified with documentation but they are also warm, kind, attentive, and communicative. Robbie was super… Read full review

Colby is above and beyond other dog care centers we have been to in the past. The staff is helpful, professional and very, very cheerful! Keegan is Winnie the Pooh‘s groomer and does an excellent job and listens carefully to my suggestions. A staff at the desk are charming. I met Andrew and Luna the other day and… Read full review

Took Mylo in for a nail trim! Excellent job! The groomer took his time to make sure Mylo was comfortable and relaxed and while he was getting his nails trimmed, I got a tour of the facility it was very clean and I will definitely be using them again

Had superb experiences for my babies. Murice did a great job with the grooming. Huge shoutout to Ellie and Andrew from the Colby’s Team for their amazing customer service. We will definitely be regulars at Colbys with the great services.

Reasonably priced for the location and convenient placed for easy dropoff and pickup. Friendly staff that are always amenable for my absurd schedule changes and rabdom requests. Clean space as well. My dog is always happy when we walk in, and in one piece when I pick him up.

Keegan always does a fantastic job with our doodles, Zoe and Arthur! Thank you, Colbys for taking such great care of them!

Colby’s DogCare & Spa is truly lucky to have Kuhniya! She is always so sweet, incredibly helpful, and consistently goes above and beyond for both the pups and their parents. Her kindness and attention to detail make every visit feel easy and stress-free. Ghost and I absolutely love her and are so grateful for the care she gives. Highly recommend! 🐾💛

It is no exaggeration to say that the staff at Colby’s have changed both my life and my pup’s. He endured abuse when he was very young and has struggled with severe separation anxiety ever since. Thanks to his growing confidence gained from Colby’s, he can now manage short periods home alone, which has been… Read full review
