For privacy reasons, we will not discuss the specifics of your account publicly.Regarding the $100 service call fee, our initial inspection is offered at no charge. If repairs are identified and completed during that inspection, the $100 service call fee is waived. If we are required to return for a separate visit to complete additional work, the standard $100 service call fee applies.In an attempt to resolve this matter with you, we have removed the $100 service call fee from your most recent visit. We would also like to point out that the controller replacement was provided at a discount of over 70% from our standard pricing as an additional effort to help address the situation.Regarding the sod installation, our team was informed that sod had been installed but was not provided specific information about where it had been installed. When our technician found visibly cut irrigation wiring, we were attempting to determine the cause of the damage. Based on the information provided to us, the sod installation was considered as a possible cause. This was an effort to determine what had happened, not an attempt to place blame.We stand behind our technicians and the work they perform, while recognizing that irrigation systems can have complex, interconnected issues that may not always be identifiable during an initial visit.

We understand why you would be concerned about your sprinkler system no longer turning on after our technician’s visit, particularly when you originally called us to address a leak. We also completely understand why an unexpected $450 charge for diagnosing the wiring issue would be upsetting.The additional charge was for locating and diagnosing the wiring issue once the system would no longer operate. Since this was a separate issue from the leak and no digging or work was performed that would have caused damage to the wiring, an additional service was necessary to identify the problem.We would really appreciate the opportunity to speak with you directly, hear more about your concerns, and see if we can help clear up any confusion surrounding the visit and charges.
