What an absolutely wonderful experience! The mushroom cooking class exceeded all expectations and was the perfect combination of culinary creativity, learning, and great company. Dan was an exceptional instructor, knowledgeable, engaging, and genuinely passionate about sharing his expertise. He made the entire experience both educational and incredibly enjoyable.
One of the highlights was meeting so many wonderful fellow participants. There’s something special about bringing people together through a shared love of food, conversation, and learning something new.
The atmosphere made the experience even more memorable. The bar has a fantastic ambiance, warm, inviting, and full of character, and the kitchen is equally impressive, providing a wonderful space to cook, learn, and connect.
From the instruction to the atmosphere and the amazing people we met, every aspect of this experience was exceptional. I left inspired, having learned new culinary skills and made some lovely connections along the way. I would absolutely recommend this class to anyone looking for a unique, fun, and memorable culinary experience. I can't wait to attend another!

We did a “cooking with kids class” (daughter is 9 years old). It was really great. The kids were able to practice some knife skills with real knives. Put together tasty but simple recipes. The kitchen was very clean. The staff was involved enough! My kiddo and I kept talking about how we need to go back with the rest of our family for another class. Highly recommend!!!

What a hidden gem. Went to a cheese/wine tasting there and had an excellent time. This place is an incredible local business. We need to patronize places like this to keep local small business in our neighborhoods .

If you are looking for a fantastic local culinary experience, look no further than cooking classes with Stacy! She hosts an incredible scratch-cooking session that is as educational as it is entertaining. Our small group loved the private, clean, and well-lit environment. The menu was an absolute home run: salad with scratch-made ranch, two delicious chicken options, homemade rice vermicelli, and unforgettable smashed potatoes. Stacy sends you home with the exact recipes and a calendar of upcoming sessions so you can keep the momentum going. We already can't wait for our next class. Fun, relaxing night. Clean, beautiful space. Staff warm and engaging. Minimal cooking, the dry items were pre- measured and the pomodoro sauce was pre- prepared.

To ensure our guests have an enjoyable experience and are able to create a complete meal within the class time, we do have some ingredients pre-measured and certain components prepped in advance. This allows us to focus on teaching techniques, cooking methods, and enjoying the experience together. I came for a cooking class but the experience was disappointing. The event was disorganized and felt unnecessarily high-stress, and some organizers didn’t seem to know basic techniques without checking with someone else for clarification.
The communication style was a big issue—they talked AT us instead of TO us, often coming off dismissive and condescending, then trying to smooth it over with “you’re doing a great job.” Questions didn’t feel welcomed, which made the environment uncomfortable.
As someone with a culinary background, I didn’t learn anything new. Overall, the class lacked organization, professionalism, and genuine hospitality.

We had the best time learning to make pasta! Chef Dan was awesome! He was so funny and made the class so enjoyable. The food turned out delicious, we can’t wait to make it at home. We will for sure be back for more classes, especially Chef Dan’s classes!

Great ambiance, instruction and food! Like being able to purchase wine to go with dinner. Sitting down to eat the meal and receiving a hard copy of the recipes at the end. Highly recommend!
