My dog Edith is a sweet girl and loves people, but has a tendency to be very anxious and has a history of reactivity towards other dogs. She has her quirks! For anyone that has a dog with issues like this, finding a boarding facility that can accommodate your dog can be stressful and incredibly difficult. After taking Edith in for a meet and greet we decided to board her for a weekend. Country Pup Kennel delivered a level of care that was tailored to Edith’s needs which eased my mind from the jump. Edith is about 10 years old and I’ve never felt fully comfortable leaving her at a boarding facility until now. We will be using them for all of our future boarding needs 10/10.

We know how stressful boarding can be when you have a dog who is anxious or reactive, and earning your trust with Edith means a lot to our entire team.
We loved having her stay with us and look forward to seeing Edith again! Thank you for trusting Country Pup Kennel with your girl and for the wonderful recommendation!

We’re all looking for a clean, safe, affordable and full service place to send our fur babies but Country Pups goes further.
The kennels are spacious places for each dog, not just a cage. Each guest has their own cubby for food, leashes and other items your pet may need. I love the adjoining kennels. Our dog can be boarded in her own space but a partition can be opened so she spends the time with her best buddy next to her. It is open except for meals. Music plays in the boarding area to calm the dogs, especially if there is a storm or fireworks. We pay less for boarding than our previous place with better facilities.
Lucy was groomed twice at Country Pups. They only have one dog groomed at a time. This is faster and much less stressful for her. They did a wonderful job and at less cost than her two previous groomers.
They also have a self-service dog wash. For $15 you can bring in your dog anytime and clean up. Everything is provided. This is a fantastic option for hunting dogs and those times they get into something gross.
This kennel is super clean, scent-free and spacious for play or training. It’s not super close to our house but worth the drive. The staff loves dogs and it shows.

This place was an absolute LIFE SAVER! My dog has done the traditional boarding, and had problems with getting overwhelmed by the lack of structure. We switched to personal friends coming to watch him, but when we were not able to find anyone, this was the best possible "back up". From the consultation phone call, to the meet and greet, drop off and pick up, everything was easy! Having a dog who gets overstimulated by other dogs, Country Pup Kennels makes leaving him the easiest part of planning for time away.
Their entire staff was kind, understanding, and so sweet to my dog. He came home tired but happy! We definitely will be back when we take our next getaway!

Thank you so much for the wonderful review! We know how stressful it can be to find the right place for a dog who gets overwhelmed or overstimulated, so it means a lot to hear that you felt comfortable leaving Dude with us.
Our goal is to meet each dog where they are and give them the environment, structure, and care they need to feel safe and comfortable. We’re so happy he went home tired and happy! Thank you for trusting our team with him. We loved having Dude and look forward to seeing him again for your next getaway!
