Beware of the 'sales pitch' here. I went in with high expectations from him via email but as soon as the $2500 retainer fee was in his hands, everything changed. I gave clear, specific instructions on how to handle my case and my funds, yet Attorney Nathan went rogue and drained my retainer on things I specifically told him not to do or with out a discussion with me. Every avenue that I shared that may give possibility for my case led to very swift dismissals. It’s incredibly disappointing to trust someone with your legal future only to have them prioritize their own bottom line over your direct requests. Total lack of integrity and zero respect for the client’s wishes. Just need to ensure people are aware and in the lookout!
A lawyer’s duty to keep client confidences has few exceptions and in an abundance of caution I do not feel at liberty to respond in a point-by-point fashion in this forum. Suffice it to say that I do not believe that the post presents a fair and accurate picture of the events.

I told him how this dealership had been taking money from me for 6 years saying that I owed them for repairs which had already been paid off extensively only to come out take my vehicle just out the blue. He asked me for some information and let me know he’s dealt with them before and 2 days later he calls me and says you can go pick up your truck with a clear and free title! Attorney DeLadurantey is the absolute best and I will forever be grateful for his help!

I scheduled a consultation with Nathan DeLadurantey regarding a landlord-tenant dispute, and received dismissive and factually incorrect legal advice. I have lived in my apartment for 12 years and recently reported hazardous renovations that severely breached the implied warranty of habitability. This resulted in the city issuing a stop-work order for unlicensed plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and alterations. We Energies later confirmed multiple active gas leaks and improper venting of carbon monoxide, subsequently locking gas meters pending appropriate permits and licensed professionals to complete the work. My landlord immediately retaliated by serving me a 28-day notice. During the call, I started laying out the timeline and reading him text message summaries documenting the landlord's behavior and very clear intent. But before I could even get to the deeper layers of serious contractual breaches and financial misconduct at play, he cut me off. He confidently claimed that a retaliation defense cannot be used with a month-to-month tenancy because the landlord does not need a reason to terminate the tenancy. This is completely false under Wisconsin law. Retaliatory eviction is explicitly prohibited by Wis. Stat. § 704.45, and the Wisconsin Supreme Court settled this exact issue for month-to-month tenants over 50 years ago in Dickhut v. Norton, the very case that established this law. In that specific case, the Supreme Court ruled that a month-to-month tenant absolutely has the right to raise a retaliatory eviction defense after reporting housing code violations. The court noted that allowing landlords to evict at will to silence tenants would completely undermine public safety and housing codes. I chose to cut the consultation short, letting him know that since we were already at odds, there was no point in continuing. He either doesn't know basic case law governing tenant rights, or he intentionally misapplied a legal barrier as an excuse to pass on a case he didn’t deem worthy before I even finished explaining the damages and additional ATCP violations. Passing off false information like this just to quickly filter out clients is dangerous. It is deeply discouraging for individuals seeking genuine legal help and actively contributes to the risk of displacement for tenants who might actually believe him when he says they have no rights. Whether it is sheer legal ignorance or just an arrogant, dismissive brush-off, this is not someone you want defending your housing rights. Save your time and find a lawyer who actually knows the law and respects the facts.
