Matt was amazing. We got locked out of a MicroSoft account. After online recovery efforts, and two other shops saying we’d have to wipe the hard drive and start over, Matt got us fully recovered with all data in tact. And he was amazingly patient with two “old ladies” to boot. He’s earned my business for life.

They first said it was the motherboard, then said no its the keyboard and touchpad. This didn't make sense, but I agreed to the repair. They sent it back but it wouldn't charge past 50%. I…

Extremely Disappointed — They Clearly Didn’t Know What They Were Doing
I expected much better from Digital Doc. I thought they would be more knowledgeable and professional than Geek Squad, but unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing.
I paid for a diagnostic to answer my questions, to getting a professional diagnosis. They told me my Dell XPS had a "power rail failure," but when I asked what that actually meant, they told me we don't know what is that!!
My laptop also had a BIOS-related issue. Every time I turned it on, I had to reset the BIOS to get the display working on my second monitor. They told me everything was fine, even though there was clearly an issue.
Even something as simple as closing the back cover of the laptop . I asked them to close the laptop cover, and they couldn't do it. Instead, they claimed the lid and clips were broken, which was not true. I Fixed!!!!
Honestly, they clearly don't know what they're doing. I went there expecting professional expertise, but I left feeling like I wasted my time. Very disappointing experience. I would not recommend Digital Doc for diagnosing or repairing a Dell XPS.

Nicholas - I am very sorry to hear this news and even more sorry that you felt we deserved a 1 Star Review. We were unaware that you were having additional issues with your keyboard now. As we explained to you, we had to send this repair out to a vendor since it was something out of out scope at this location. If you are now having issues with the keyboard, we will be more than happy to work with you and the vendor to get that resolved under warranty. I understand your frustration with this situation and we are more than willing to help get the keyboard replaced under warranty. We understand that the vendors we use represent our business as well, but it is unfortunate that this case was very difficult to diagnose and we can only relay what they tell us the problem is with the device.
