Excellent service
Mid day walk in, showed them the hairstyle, they said yes. I was nervous because I hadn’t heard about them. Baby, my braided did an amazing job and was so gentle on my edges. I absolutely love the style and it only took 2 hours. I also purchased hair and it is good quality and soft. I’m coming back in a month.

They did a fantastic job on my sew in! I was styled by Liyu who did my wash, blow dry, and braid down with great care and attention to details. The salon was also the most clean Ethiopian hair salon of the top 3 in the area. Will definitely be back when I’m in town for my next sew in or silk press!

I’ve been here twice for braids and have had a good experience both times. They provide the hair, a wash and blow dry and listen to make sure you’re happy with the style.
Best braids you ever get Mary is the best
I got boho braids yesterday. Customer service was great! I don’t feel rushed. That fact the a wash a blow dry is included in my price was a plus for me! The wash felt amazing! Definitely going back!
It was my first visit to this salon, and I had an incredible time. When I stopped by to inquire about the pricing, a lady informed me that it would cost $80. However, when I returned this morning, another lady informed me that my hair would be $120. Fortunately, she honored the initial price of $80.
I’ve been coming to this salon since I’ve lived in the silver spring area , Mary has the Best shop around hand done , great styles , they greet you when you walk in the door , and they wash and blow dry ! They never miss on the styles ! Please ladies and men come visit and get style or a hair cut

I got my hair braided last week. It was my first time using DMZ salon. I definitely appreciated the fact that they offer the service of washing your hair before braiding. This by far was such a great service. Mary was so sweet! I was unsure of what color I wanted to go with. But Mary was on it, she picked out the colors I needed to make the style work. Mariya was amazing, she was precise with my parts. And braided quickly. Overall, I was happy with the service.
Mary was phenomenal! She gave me awesome two strand twists within 2 hours! I also got my hair blowdried and trimmed perfectly by Maria. I highly recommend both of their services and plan to see them again in the future!
