I signed a contract with Perry in November of 2025. After a few calls he finally showed up in February. He came on a day when the frost was coming out and I again told him I did not want the yard ruined. He assured me that he was a man of his word and integrity so don't worry any damage would be taken care of. He did hire someone who then hired a friend to come over with a wheelbarrow and shovel and seed to fix the yard. When I informed Perry that the job was terrible he sent someone else to look at it. He proposed we seed it again. When I informed Perry that would not take care of getting all the weeds and deep ruts out of the yard he did not respond. Just beware he did not keep his promises so that apparently shows his integrity.

Jeff, I’m sorry the original tree work caused damage to your lawn. I understood my responsibility to address it, and I followed through by hiring a landscaping contractor who visited the property multiple times, added black dirt and seed, and completed the repairs by the date I promised. As an additional sign of good faith, we also paid to repair the area affected by the stump grinding, even though the stump grinding was performed by a separate company. We also paid for core aeration of the lawn.
When you remained dissatisfied, I hired a second independent landscaping professional to inspect the property. His assessment was that the original repair had been performed appropriately, that grass had successfully grown in portions of the repaired area, and that the appropriate next step was to reseed the remaining thin areas and follow the recommended watering and lawn-care instructions. The photographs taken afterward show substantial grass growth throughout the affected area, with some remaining thin spots.
I recognize that my communication toward the end could have been better. However, it is not accurate to say that I ignored the damage or failed to make a serious effort to correct it. I accepted responsibility, hired multiple professionals, paid for work beyond the damage caused by our company and continued seeking solutions when the first repair did not meet your expectations.
I’m disappointed that we were unable to reach a resolution you considered satisfactory, but I stand behind the good-faith effort we made to repair the property and fulfill our commitment.
Eggerts did a great job. I got a couple trees pruned and they look great. Yard was cleaned up very well when they were done and the scheduling and communication was very helpful. I'll use them again in the future and would recommend them to anyone needing tree maintenance / removal.
Five stars for Eggert’s Tree Service! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Having a large ash tree damaged by emerald ash borer removed from my rental property in St. Michael, Minnesota, was stressful—especially because I’m in California and couldn’t be there in person.
Elisa, Nick, Rachel, and Perry made the entire experience seamless from beginning to end. They were so kind, patient, and communicative, keeping me informed and giving me peace of mind every step of the way. Thanks to Kathy in the office keeping the project moving. The removal went smoothly, with no issues.
When you’re trusting someone to take care of your property from across the country, that level of care means everything. Thank you to the whole team for turning a stressful situation into such a positive experience. I wholeheartedly recommend Eggert’s Tree Service! I highly recommend this team of professionals.

Thank you Niece for shouting out the crew. They are hard working and passionate. We share all reviews internally.
The crew from Eggerts did a fantastic job! They were very professional, knowledgeable, arrived on time, and finished in a about two hours. We had two huge Maples, two Ash trees, and 5 Pine trees trimmed. These are all mature 18-year-old trees that have never been trimmed. We also had a small pine tree removed. The cost was about $2300.00, significantly lower than average. We would absolutely recommend this company.

Excellent experience with Eggert tree service! Perry, Elisa, Nick and Ron completed thorough job of pruning and cutting some serious deadwood from very large trees maneuvering deftly around house and porch roofs and landscaping. Results were exceptional and cleanup superior. Their knowledge of trees is superb, they identified potential future issues and gave us several options to consider with no pressure.

A very organized company. They did a thorough job by asking questions before they started making sure what I wanted done. Perry, Rachel, Elisa and Nick Worked so well together as a team and did a great job cutting down and trimming my trees. They cleaned Up all of the trees and branches and I couldn’t even tell that they were there other than the trees that they cut down are gone. Thank you so much for your top notch service.

We are really pleased with the work done by Eggert’s Tree Service! A big thank you to Perry, Elisa, Nick, and Rachel. Perry shared some of his expertise, and the entire crew were personable and professional. They were thorough from the start of the job to final cleanup.
Perry and his crew, Rachel, Nick, and Elisa were at my neighbors trimming his trees, I went to talk with Perry about having my tree in the front yard trimmed. He gave me a price; the crew did an amazing job! The tree looked great and everything was neatly cleaned up; would never know they had been here. They worked hard the temperature outside was 90 and humid. If you need any tree services give Eggert's a call, I know you will not be disappointed!
