Before I begin, I'd like to thank Moshe for all of the time, effort, graciousness and true dedication he had for my daughter. My daughter had big dreams about attending a service academy (either the United States Air Force Academy or the United States Naval Academy). With that said, the requirements for acceptance into those academies is daunting. One of the weak points identified in my daughter was her ACT score. Even with dedicated studying and taking the test already 7 times, she could barely scoot her score up to even be considered competitive. We decided to do some research to find her help. Through a recommendation by a friend, we found Equitas Prep. My friend said her ACT score started at a 22 and after working with Moshe, was able to ultimately get a 31 after repeating the test twice. My friend was an intelligent girl, but just couldn't handle the nervousness on test day--that was my daughter. With one-on-one weekly meetings with Moshe, my daughter learned skills that not only helped her increase her score 8 points, but taught her strategies she could use on ANY tests! Her confidence grew and her testing abilities sharpened. In the end, she got early admission into BOTH the United States Naval Academy AND the Air Force Academy! On top of that, she got full ride scholarships to University of Colorado, Boulder as well as University of San Diego. We are so proud of her and give a lot of credit to Moshe and his team for fitting her into their busy schedules and truly getting to the root of her testing issues and working them out beautifully for her! THANK YOU, Equitas Prep, for making such a bright future for my daughter! The time and money investment truly paid off for my daughter!
Equitas Prep has been incredibly helpful! Every lesson is explained so thoughtfully and has really pushed me to succeed. You can really tell that they want what’s best for their students, it’s the best place to go to for help!
Equitas is the best! They helped both of my kids become better students, writers, and test takers. They are both at the colleges that they wanted to attend and are thriving. After working with Equitas they raised their test scores and perfected their college application essays. We had worked with other tutors and none were even close to the level of Equitas.
Equitas Prep is amazing from the beginning through to the end. The guidance and tips you receive will completely change the way you view the SAT/ACT and suddenly you realize how doable it is to prep in honestly many fewer sessions than I would have thought it would take me to get a the score I got ( I took about 8 sessions of prep tutoring and got a 34 on my ACT.) Overall outstanding experience. Going to the sessions didn’t even feel like work given the supportive environment
Moshe and Equitas helped me raise my ACT score from a 33 to a 36 in only a few sessions! Moshe taught me many helpful skills for tackling standardized tests and other exams which I continue to use. The strategies Equitas taught me to employ while approaching the math and science sections of the ACT were immensely helpful and have made me a better student overall.
I started with a 23 and improved to a 34. Moshe taught me alot of skills that I continue to use on school tests and assignments. Not only did he improve my act, he made me a better student.
My son did the ACT prep with Equitas Prep at the Norton Learning Center for a little over a year. His first ACT score was an 18. After the classes he took another ACT and it was a 24. He did more prep classes which he did enjoy. This past fall he took the ACT as a senior and scored a 30!
I give Equitas Prep most of the credit on the improved score. They helped him become a much better test taker.
And in addition the Norton Learning Center is extremely clean, safe, and up to date facility!
I think this program should be taken by all students wanting to improve
