What a fantastic experience! We loved learning about the history of tintype photography over cheese and crackers. Maureen and Dave were so warm and welcoming. We’re so happy to have a unique and beautiful engagement photograph along with the memory of a fun and intimate experience. We will be back!!

I wish I could give this experience more than 5 stars. Maureen and Dave went above and beyond for us and created photos we will treasure forever. I never like photos of myself but suggested my boyfriend and I get tintypes done for our 6 year anniversary. I finally have photos of the two of us I love imagining…

Thank you for celebrating your first wedding anniversary with us! We loved sharing the process (and the science!) with you both. It means so much that you chose us for such a special occasion. Thank you SO much for sharing the frame you put it in…we don’t often get to see them in their home. Look forward to the next special time in your lives:)
We’ll be here if the chemicals haven’t killed us! 😆

We had the best time between my husband, myself, and our puppy, Griffon. We got an 8x10” tintype of the three of us, and a solo 5x7” of Griffon. Maureen and her husband were such wonderful hosts, and clearly have a true love for what they do.

I had such a wonderful experience at Evoke Tintype!!! The whole process was fascinating, and I loved learning about the history and artistry behind tintype photography. Maureen and Dave made the experience feel SO welcoming and special (their dog Maggie did as well ☺️). I left not only with a beautiful, one-of-a-kind portrait, but also feeling genuinely good about myself. It was such a unique, personal, and uplifting experience, and I would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking to try something different and meaningful. You can really feel the care and passion that goes into their work! Well worth the flight from California 🫶🏼

What a phenomenal experience. I was expecting to have our picture taken and that'd be it. Instead it was a whole experience where we were taught the history and process of this type of photography. The hosts were absolutely incredible. We felt so welcomed. On top of the awesome experience, we're thrilled with the results. Highly recommend!

We had such a wonderful experience with Maureen and Dave for our couple’s portrait and could not recommend Evoke enough! There’s truly something magical about the process, no doubt in part from the love and commitment they put into the art! We are so excited to have pictures our future grandkid’s grandkids can see!
