I apologize in advance for the long review but I feel everything should be put out there. My husband and I decided to have our windows, doors and siding done on our house and chose feldco on this huge project. They told us in advance that the windows and doors would be done in two days for the install. Great, no problem. So I requested off of work. They told us siding would be completed afterwards at a later date. Well installation day arrived and they clearly send sub contractors out for the install who only 1 spoke a bit of English. They rushed the job and got it done in 1 day. (So lost 1 day of pay from work for me) Several of the screens and the screen door we received were ripped. And they are very poor quality. Do not get screens from them! They also installed my front storm door wrong. It's crooked and there is a gap on the bottom. When I brought this to the installers attention he told me it was supposed to be like that. On a side note I had a different storm door installed off my kitchen and they were supposed to complete that job which I called several days before they came to make sure they were going to fix that as well. I was assured that they would and it was on the work order. However the installer told me it wasn't his job. When he "finished" he stood over me to sign that the job was complete. I called feldco as soon as the driver drove out of my driveway to tell them what happened. Well I had to wait almost a month for them to come out and finish the job. They are coming tomorrow. (Supposedly) I also called a couple of weeks ago to make sure we wouldn't be charged until the job is done and they assured me we wouldn't be till everything is complete. Well guess what I received in the mail last week?.....yup a bill and the job isn't done. I called to speak to someone and they said they would leave a message for a manager and they would get back to me on Monday. Today and guess what no call. Completely unprofessional. I'm sorry but $72,000 is a lot of money to be spending and I never once asked for a refund or a discount. I just want it done properly. I will say however the siding is great and have no complaints on that.

Had Jay give us a presentation for window replacement,he did a wonderful job explaining everything to us. He spent hours making sure all our questions were answered. Update after measurements and installation: we had a second measuring one month from the initial meeting with Jay. While with that rep, he noticed a few of the measurements were wrong.I also saw that it wasn't correct when they sent a link asking us to sign that everything looked ok. I told them the paperwork had the wrong width for the dining room window. I was assured it was correct and to go ahead and sign the document. So we did. When the crew came to do the installation on August 24th, it was completely wrong. The installer asked me, "Did you measure this or Feldco?" I said it wasn't me. They had to reorder the correct windows again. Second installation time: Sept 29th. If you're reading this, Google "federal egress windows for bedrooms and basement for occupied space." Because it can cause your window not meeting the requirements. Originally, we ordered double-hung windows for the house. When they arrived, we discovered that some were casement windows while others were double-hung. We were never informed of this during our initial meeting; had we known, it might have changed our decision regarding the purchase. Today was the final day for installation. I really don't know what to think since this is the 3rd time installers have been here. When the guys arrived, they said, "We are going to do everything in our power to get this right. I was pleased that they acknowledged our dissatisfaction. After five long months, the matter is finally resolved. Who is to blame—the sales department, the installer, the factory design team, or quality control? I had given them a five-star rating before the product was even installed.
